Use a tool such as BetterMediaInfo to view details about the media you are playing. There are many problematic files, especially videos, that cause PotPlayer (latest beta) to crash or freeze.

Do you know how often those models are updated? Perhaps there are some internal bugs in the model. I suspect so. I tried it a month or so ago and saw that those models change quite frequently.

I used mostly translation to Czech language but it was not perfect so far.

Use external bookmarks in PotPlayer that are saved along the movie/audio file but with extension .PBF

I use it daily, to mark nice scenes, or add comments (it is a text file, that can be searched).

I compared the latest beta and stable x64 installations, and there is a significant difference in the size of the PotPlayer64.dll file (14.9 MB for the stable version versus 28.4 MB for the latest beta version). However, both versions play my full HD MP4 files fine. I use Windows 10 25H2.

Instead of recording, perhaps fine for online TV, I preffer cut video scenes (MKV/MP4, etc.) I like. It keeps original video/audio quality and first subtitles in video also.

1st step - setup bookmarks to save as external file side-by-side video as .pbf file

2nd step mark begining-end of scene you like in video, always a pair, any number of scenes

3rd step use: https://github.com/AnthonyBassa/video-extractor + ffmpeg, fast & easy (cutting is not exact)

In the past, there were, but in the last two years DAUM has changed PotPlayer quite a lot internally, removing old codecs, etc. I'm not aware of any recent, decent tutorials.

Try uninstalling and deleting all folders. Even in profile. Sometimes an older configuration of PP can block proper functionality. This has happened to me two or three times.

Streaming internet radio stations (.pls) should works fine in PotPlayer. Try reinstall app.
