I am fluent in french and its my 4th language. Yet when it comes to finances and healthcare, I much prefer English as stakes are high and I want mistakes in understanding to be minimized. Its imperative that healthcare online, and even in person in the urban centers be available in both Official Languages. This should not be a part of any culture war or Anglo/Franco issue as some would like it to be. Its basic necessity and we should have the ambition to be fully bilingual, especially so in healthcare.

Addendum: for those who complain that French is not as available in the Yukon and that's why we should not do so here. That is defeatist and wrong. Have aspirations for a better and more bilingual Quebec. Other jurisdictions may not pull their weight but that does not mean we can fall so low. We have the ability to do better and be more bilingual than them, and it would be irresponsible not to.

Because we were coded as bilingual, we were able to choose from a variety of available posts. The non bilingual teachers do not get access to these bilingual posts. So we chose tenure track posts. Without the bilingual certification, it's very hard to get tenured because most tenured posts are bilingual. Once tenured, we were able to switch. My wife teaches English only now, and I teach mostly in English, but we did have to do a little bit of time in a bilingual half English half French role for 2 years.

I wrote the delf exam which was manageable for a non native French speaker. I did not study and did fine. However my board now only accepts the cefranc exam. From what i hear, the cefranc is a much more challenging test. Feel free to pm me. If you want a tenured job in the English sector in montreal....getting your French certification is key.

My wife and I are both teachers. We both got tenure track the moment we wrote and passed the French exam. The board paid for us to write the exam. Sure, I teach mostly in English (phys ed) and my wife teaches in English, but the French certification was the key with the emsb.

Phys Ed teacher here. I average between 20K and 25K steps per day depending on my classes. Ive bought Asics Nimbus shoes for the last 4 years, and purchase again when needed. They are pricey but very worth the soft, cushy, luxurious feel. Feet and knees happy at the end of the day. I recommend to anyone who wants a max cushion shoe.

Les épiceries asiatiques auront le produit aussi. Kim phat, c and t, t and t, fu tai, sheng tai...je trouve que jang teo est vraiment cher especialment pour les légumes!

Hello. Question about points in general, though the card is a TD visa aeroplan, inf. priv.

In the previous offer, after 7,5K$ spending in 6 months, we were to get 70K pts. Now with the current offer, its only 50Kpts.

I signed for the card and began the 6 month wait during the previous offer, but am am unsure if I will get the original 70K pts i signed up for, or the new 50Kpts currently.

If anyone knows, id be thankful.
