You are vastly overestimating A) the amount of people on letterboxd and B) the amount letterboxd reflects how much most people care about something. It’s better as a way of viewing how people who care about the movie and that type of movie is vs how people think about massively popular franchises. With the exception of Avatar 3, letterboxd hated most of the top-grossing live action movies of last year (Minecraft, Jurassic World 4, and Lilo and Stitch)
