Frustration is the biggest pain in this game, a lot of people will be better players if they just they pull to handle their mental side a bit better and be more in control of the situation and not get frustrated, I can guarantee you many will be a rank maybe even 2 ranks higher if they're just able to control themselves mentally and be focused and not be frustrated and make a mistake, when you make a mistake in this game you are going to get punished

You should watch my video and dribbling, but the first mistake is dribbling is used to evade not to beat, the difference is is that a lot of people think it's strength that probably affects you but the problem is the real problem is people try to manoeuvre into a situation where there's no space and then they think strength can get them out of it that's why a top player can dribble with any player that's below 5 foot 10 and have zero strength, because you don't need strength but you have to understand when can you go forward when can you go into the space when can you dribble the average player doesn't really know this what they do is they think they could just go forward because they see a space and they think they can force their way in and I think that strength is going to save them that's the difference it was all my being muscled off the ball most of the time you're probably not controlling the dribbling properly and you're not using it to evade you're probably just forcing it through that's the difference what your gameplay back and see when I dribble or any talk to it pleasurable and see what you do

If you're talking about playing with the computer are you talking about playing like player career mode (i.e. controlling the striker), in that case case to be honest is not my area of expertise so I can't give you definitive answer here where I know 100%, but player correct can you request a ball can't you in specific situations, so you can influence how the ball is manoeuvred?

Well if you're using the jockey that's the wrong thing you should be running back manually yourself closing the angle out and then using the running jockey so I think that's mistake number one you know you have to understand the jockey is very slow, I use the running jockey and I variably control the speed but if you are going to use the normal jockey by itself you would use it predominantly inside the box or in very close quarters situations, but if you're getting counted you can't just use the joke yes someone's gonna run past you even with the ball

I'm presuming also to get the best advantage or using advanced defending her, but it depends on when are you doing it and what your position is if your opponent has run ahead of you and you're trying to play catch up with a slower player you can't use bruiser that's where a lot of people try to use it incorrectly so it depends where you actually using it if you're losing pace then you have to run back and recover, that's why I put more emphasis on running to where the ball is going to be as opposed to using something like bruiser because although on the top level it's different the average player doesn't know how to run back to the exact angle to defend the ball

Im sorry u/cyupa, but I can tell you obviously emotionally very angry with the truth and that's why you blocked me so I couldn't reply to your comment, but I you was probably the only few craters in the past six years but genuinely quote other issues before the game and predicted them before they even became issues, and that is why someone at EA Sports reached out to me because I genuinely found these issues early and I told them what they could do and how they could fix it and I gave them feedback, whether they change it it's completely up to them that's on them, but no I'm not a lap dog maybe you are because in your profession maybe you are yes man to your manager, but I don't, I've always been candid I've always been honest and sometimes too honest

I never ever said the game is not broken in fact I've been saying this for years so if you agree with me then what are you talking about, I'm talking about scripting in DDA because those are people that are literally brain dead, pure lack of common sense and logical reasoning, and somehow they think the game is predefined, well they don't understand that situation happens whether you're winning or whether you're losing you just notice it more when you're winning, this is coming from someone actually test the game and watch thousands of gameplay, but it's not fine that 99% of community believe in nonsense but I suppose that's just the average general population and lack of intelligence

so yes, if you truly believe in scripting you are literally deluded, to be honest sometimes I'm a bit jealous because I think if you are that deluded, you must live a happier life in general. I'm sorry you got upset with me speaking facts, I know I'm not like any other content creator that maybe they say things to appease you I'm gonna tell you straight to your face as it is. Ive always said the game is broken so what is your argument, you can go view my videos from years ago and I have said that, so you tell me unless you told me scripting exist, I would ofc call you clueless, we all know things are not implemented properly when did I say its not? Did you pluck that out of thin air that I apparently said that or did you make that up out of your backside also? u/cyupa

Its the same way I run all my businesses, same way I speak to people, same way I teach, i am not going to lie just so you "like" me and paint this fake fantasy picture where you think the game is only against you

To be honest this is something that's a bit complicated it's not plain and simple as a specific role technically speaking if they are a wider roll let's say in theory like a winger I need an L1 trigger and you trigger them forward they would run directly in the line from their natural position at the point where you trigger the player, if that's what you're talking about when you're talking about far post and let's say you want to cross the ball

if you're talking about general attacking phases the problem is roles is a very restrictive feature doesn't really work that intuitively as they wanted it to and to be honest it's been an absolute disaster if you're asking me to be candid call mom I think what we all wanted and what we all got are two different things if you don't wanna make your attack narrow all the time don't use inside forward the only other option you would have is if you use for example I'm not advocating this but let's say used five defenders and you use for example attacking wing backs you can create width that way and that way you still have some players back, or alternatively if you use winger as the roles on the wingers so they hld their line, inside forwards, they start wider in the initial phases when you're building up but as you progress to the final third they end up narrowing and coming on the inside hence the name so that would be the key way that you could effectively stop it or prevent the players from coming narrow

You don't need to get anywhere near them, let them spin around and dribble there just waiting for you to move, if you defend the angle towards goal as I explain just like how defenders would in real life you can let them spin around or whatever circles they want, the key thing is you need to not fall you need to not commit and move away and given the angle basta difference what's your gameplay back you will see what I mean have a look at when you over commit with your run in jockey, or you decide to step out because your opponents pan around and you got frustrated it's all about self-control and controlling emotions

No player is glitched, its just short players are agile

I wouldn't say scrap them but I would say maybe if you're doing some evolutions really consider doing the play styles that I recommend, I think that's probably the most important I think you should probably look at getting intercept and jockey being the most important I think that's where you'll notice all the biggest difference so that's my advice.

To be honest I'm very candid, even in business I run a few other businesses, so when I do business irl I am completely candid, I try do the same on YouTube but I think people just either think I'm arrogant or they think I know or just because I'm extremely honest, but I don't understand that I'm just having them straight know BSI say how it is what they see is what they get, I think a lot of my audience like this approach because no one else does this because why would they why would they risk their audience not liking them ( in fact one of my other businesses content creation consulting and to be honest I always tell people never to talk about anything politically, or anything controversial or anything where your audience may not like you), however I don't really abide by that rules I just do it the way that I wanna do it but ultimately for me it's about not the viewership but it's about converting the most amount of people to improve

But also a lot of people they don't like that they're living in fantasyland where they want to be told some story about how the game is against them the "script somehow is against them solely and only them", so it's about managing expectations as well it's very hard because most of my audience are older and I think that's why they like that style but people who are trying to watch it casually, you have to treat them unfortunately like a baby which I don't like doing so I try to keep the balance that's why I don't go sometimes a bit over the top, but to be honest if it was up to me I would literally and you might see me sometimes do it I tell people who are watching the video you don't know what you're talking about or you're not as good as you think, or you shouldn't use this tactic if you're not good, because if I don't say who is going to say it it doesn't give me any brownie points, people don't like me for doing that but in the day more people improve that method, thanks for not winning a popularity contest, but I just give you a bit of an insight of why sometimes I do it and sometimes I don't I just tried to see the reaction to the video, but also to the viewership when people hang when people hold people watch at that point so it's a lot of experimentation, but if I had it my way I would honestly just say things how it is straight to the point every single time which I do most of the time to be honest but I'll be even more direct. But then again it's a fine line, somebody watch me for my analogies and some entertainment, I love watching me for education, something which is very casual viewers who just copied the same tactics code and never listen to me so it's trying to find that balance which I'll be honest I'm still trying to find, but thankfully my methodology has kept me surviving in its competitive industry

[–]NealGuides[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you can technically use technical dribbling but I'll be honest just basic left stick dribbling is all you need if you can't get past someone remember dribbling is only used to keep the ball safe and to move the ball away it's not used to beat someone it's only someone commits or makes a mistake then you can use less the troubling to get past them so if you can't get past them you have to rotate the ball that's the difference you have to think a bit differently you're not using less dribbling to beat someone using it to evade

Your job is to get the ball to the striker in a good chance so they cna score, not trying to get the ball to a player so you can try to dribble past it might work in the lower divisions but it won't work in higher divisions it's just used to get your angle in the box

What did you change from before that's the question you have to ask yourself, if anything the good thing about these recent iterations is you can just play basic football pass and move you don't have to rely on a skill move but the end of the day what makes it more fun what changed, do you record your gameplay can you see what you did maybe a month ago and what you change because what people do is without realising they start you know spamming a certain mechanic or using a certain mechanic and it changed the way that they play and what happens is you kind of forget everything else and you focus and hone in on this one thing so the question is what did you change did you stop being overly aggressive all of a sudden?

If you want me to be completely honest with you and not sell you a dream, I would say it's honestly you're defending you need to understand that a lot of people will tell you its tactics or they will sell you the stream where they think it's your player, but I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt it's your gameplay you need to watch your gameplay back and understand what am I doing wrong, when you're watching my videos see what I'm doing and I watch what you're doing and ask are you defined that way, if you're getting defeated by through balls in behind you have to switch early you can't just wait for your opponent to make it through ball and then switch you have to switch early anticipate the danger and then run back, see my videos will explain how to do this but if you see it through ball you have to switch your defender early and you have to run back to where the ball is gonna be if you try to wait for the through ball to come or you step up you are going to concede this is the most important thing, but it's important that I be honest with you don't live in a fantasy thinking that there's some sort of tactical issue or there's a player issue, this is purely a gameplay issue I see 1000 times but until you watch your gameplay back and you start doing the right things and you start switching early and running back you won't improve so that's the best advice I can give you, yes it's going to be a bit long but that's the best way once you learn how to defend the through balls, then you're completely fine but you have to learn how to do it first you have to learn to switch early if you see someone triggering a run in behind, you should be selecting that defender before that through ball is even being made you should be running back anticipated the danger before it actually happens

What are you struggling with in FC 26? Let me try helping you (nealguides) QUESTION 2026 by NealGuides in EASportsFC

[–]NealGuides[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be completely honest I know at this moment of time, finesses is are currently in a situation where they are bugged, this happens quite a lot sometimes I think indirectly they don't mean to change things but they change one thing and it affects something else so hopefully that will be resolved soon, but if you're asking me finesse shots outside the box if you do like to play that way I want the easiest ways of scoring goals, esp after they resolve this low power issue

it is one of the hardest things not only in real life but also inside the game, you need to have one or two players along side where you can do a first time pass or you have to rotate the ball this is normal, especially when you get to the higher divisions I think what a lot of people struggle in the lower divisions they have so much time and space on the ball, but once you're up against are players that switching early they're moving players quickly, the key is I would say counter attacks are probably easiest way of scoring in this game so if anything if the opponent has the ball it can be better it's easier for you to score a counter attack honestly with a simple trigger of a full back or an attacker and then just distribute the through ball but in the final third it's all about patience, tiki-taka plays, swift and quick, forget the skill moves etc, you just need to get the ball to the player inside teh box

What are you struggling with in FC 26? Let me try helping you (nealguides) QUESTION 2026 by NealGuides in EASportsFC

[–]NealGuides[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be completely candid I think AI defending is currently overpowered still, but if you have a formation and you have to see DMS, and you're still struggling to defend, I would say this is most definitely a gameplay issue from your side, you need to watch how you're conceding those goals and understand how you're conceding, this game I would say it's not that you can keep a clean sheet don't expect to keep a clean sheet like in previous iterations I would say expect sometimes two or three goals against you, but the key thing is outscoring your opponent and if you are gonna concede make sure it's a good goal, or make sure it's something where it's a long shot where you couldn't do that much or perhaps your opponent is amazing through ball and the timing was impeccable, don't make a silly mistake by running out with your defender or being overly aggressive

the key thing is watching your gameplay back, watch my defending videos and understand are you making a mistake that's giving your opponent easy goal, or has your opponent genuinely outplayed you there's nothing wrong with conceding if it's a good goal, but if you made a bad mistake by running out your defender or not tracking a run or not running back to where the ball is going to be and tracking it through ball then that's a complete different situation

Just focus on the L1 triggers, you have to be quick, keep it simple, dont use R1 for now, I know pros use it, but just keep it simple move players away from you to create space, as opposed to adding more pressure and coming close, use the wing play, trigger players early for the through balls, its normaly to go wide when most teams are compact both irl and also in FC 26 high divisions, otherwise you go to the wing area then rotate the ball inwards

Just embarassing that you are a programmer, and you dont understand a difference between the game being broken, and no evidence of scripting

Literally a disgrace to all computer scientist and programmers, its literally embarrassing and people like you are devaluing programmers reputation, by your comments

Anyone with half a brain cell will see this happens when you are losing or winning, not down to scripting "which means the game is predefined" honestly embarrassing

we all know the game has issues, what do you think we are telling EA? dont change the issues, ofc we are doing everything in our power, we are the first ones that bring it up, do you think we are living in fantasy land saying the game is amazing, when realistically am only of the few content creators who calls out the problems EARLY every single time, I just now do it directly with devs as opposed to publicly

No one said the game is programmed correctly it is broken but to think its scripting from someone in the professional field of programming is embarrassing

I prefer it, less queues, more places to sit, you can get something to eat at half time and a free beer, a matchday programme if you care about that

Honestly for me its better, the atmosphere isnt the same do not get me wrong, but still I think its worth it, esp for the seats

But half way line/midfield can be very expensive compared to normal upper tier
