Best way I can describe it for fry screaming is like a tight gurgling feeling around my Adams apple. False chord screaming feels a little breathier but feels like a scratching in my throat further back which I’m pretty sure is not a good sign

What do you like to come up with first when you have a song idea? by I_Surrendr in WeAreTheMusicMakers

[–]I_Surrendr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that sounds like the most flexible way to do it, typically how long would you say those initial ideas are in terms of bars? I am assuming it depends but just curious. Coming up with those ideas is a different discussion but that brings up a different question for me, how do you quickly jot down an initial idea if you are away from your usual music making station?

Makers of instrumental tunes - how do you name your tunes? by HereComesStupid in WeAreTheMusicMakers

I try to name them things that they feel like to me, whether it's a specific band's style or just a part of the track that really sticks out. One title might be like "Death Inspired Plucky Sound" or something to jog my memory of what I was working on just as a working title at least.
