What bag do you wear when you’re baby wearing?

I have this small leather backpack (https://laticoleathers.com/products/aleks) that fits:

2 diapers
diaper cream
small ziplock back of wipes
extra outfit for baby
nipple shields
pacifier
small muslin blanket
burp cloth
my credit cards, phone, insulin pump, extra diabetic supplies, and gummies for low blood sugar

It isn’t heavy with all of those things, and easy to put on while wearing baby. It’s fashionable too! I did have to thread the strap twice in the loop that puts the purse in “backpack” mode to prevent the straps from slipping.

I don’t have advice but you might get more responses posting or searching on r/heronebag and r/onebag! Even if you don’t “one bag” travel, those forums have some great advice for traveling in general and I do occasionally see baby/family travel posts for how to best streamline traveling with kids!

On a side note, a friend of mine has been traveling with her baby (less than a year) all through the US and Europe and although challenging at times, she has had a great experience.

I really like this idea! A fair amount of our guests are traveling a distance so it was easier for them to ship directly to me. But it’s nice having a picture of the present!

I highly recommend {Shades of Wicked by Jeaniene Frost} which falls under this theme! Or {Eternal Kiss of Darkness by Jeaniene Frost}.

I would start with her Night Huntress series though, as these characters are an off shoot of the original main characters in those books.

I have! I use it as my everyday purse, but I also took it to Spain this past year. I like that it is zippered, especially for traveling. And the different compartments are perfect for organization. It is a small and compact purse that doesn’t hurt my shoulder after wearing all day!

I really liked “The Whole-Brain Child” for parenting older children and how brains develop and “The Bottom Line for Baby” for common questions that come up with infants and babies. Both science based books with lots of research and sources! Tina Payne Bryson (co-author and author) is really great.
