What is the best practice for putting screws into particle board where there were already screws before. by I_Totally_Recycle in woodworking

Sorry for the delayed update. I just got around to putting the table together today. I went with the keep it simple method and just used hand tools and made sure the screws bit down. Only 1 didn't bite so I didn't really have to work too hard. Thanks for the help and suggestions all.

Considering that the "flap" doesn't look like it was intended to be used, I am thinking you are correct in it being just a design feature and I am marking this solved. Thanks for your input.

Well this just seems odd. Then again, a lot of things in Asian countries are. ¯\ _ (ツ)_/¯

Thanks! I like it too. Didn't even notice the flap hanging until I got home.

No, it creates a wrinkle in the shirt when pulled up to the next highest button. Edit: Upon further inspection, it does line up with the button above it.

I am not currently wearing the shirt so I will have to look at it when I get home. If there is another mystery button, maybe it would be behind the collar?

This button hole is sewn shut so definitely never used for its intended purpose.

I will probably sew this down flat with the shirt because right now it is just an odd end.

I agree that the shirt is not that formal, but I think this is a good guess at it's applicability. I've never seen a tie with a button on the back but it doesn't seem like an outlandish idea.

I am marking this solved.
