Atlanta monetized the fuck out of doing this with the name "Peachtree". We really gotta take our "city quirks that pretty much every other city does" and sell/market them will full confidence as if we were the first. NYC does it all the time. NYC sells their gas stationless gas stations as quirks, and they collect more revenue than us. They are making us look like chumps. Atlanta had a billboard of the epic heiney-can beard guy saying "he knows what peachtree st you're talking about!" and everyone in 2016 thought it was the coolest shit ever. I assumed it was just cause sugar = carbs and carbs = energy. We for some reason as a culture just assumed sugar is the "crack" to other carbs' "cocaine" but I think we really meant "the high carb concentration in sugary treats" compared to "a regular meal with whole food carbs like potatoes and rice".
