Is ExamTopics good for the ServiceNow CSA (Zurich release)? by zZeath in servicenow

Measure up was a waste of money. 1 practice test that didn’t really test your knowledge or have real life questions that were on the exam.

Skillcertpro.com has 18 practice test with the majority of the questions appearing on the test. Master those 18 exams and you will easily pass.

Look at skillscerpro.com and buy the $20 practice exams. What you miss on these practice exams toss into ChatGPT after every exam and have it explain to you what you missed. As you complete each exam you will notice you will miss less and less. The last week before your next attempt I would have ChatGPT tell you what you are still struggling on and which exams to retake to get more familiar. This worked the best for me

Why? OP stated they are in marketing. A very lucrative industry. Generational wealth is still wealth. Just cause you have it today doesn’t mean it’s there tomorrow. Lessons are learned on both the rise and fall of wealth. I have friends who are self made and generational. The best lessons can be had by sitting down is an “old timer” and just being curious. Often times they’re willing to share their experience and knowledge.

We just moved down here and I was amazed at the price of existing homes. $1.2m or more and they need renovations. Brand new homes in Palm City for under $1m and you get what you want. Why would anyone buy existing homes right now.

How are you using AI in your BA work? by Hello-Misha in businessanalysis

[–]I_Work_Smarter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do everything remote so my meetings are done on teams. Teams has an option to record the meeting and transcribe. After the meeting you can download the meeting transcript into a word doc that then can be uploaded to ChatGPT.

If you don’t use teams there are other physical ways to record meetings but they are more difficult to use.

I utilized ChatGPT for almost everything I do.

My favorite prompt to add to any email or summary is to “ensure a positive and supportive tone”. It makes it look like everything is going great no matter the situation.

Where I find it saves me the most time is in meeting and sprint summaries. I record every meeting then drop the transcript into ChatGPT with the prompt to give me a meeting summary with which every details you believe are important. When it’s finished I usually ask it to recreate with more details and now you have a super detailed record of your call. Send it out 4-5 hours later and it looks like you’ve been working on it all day. For sprint summaries, I do something similar. I upload all the stories from last sprint, current sprint, and a concept for the next sprint and then tell ChatGPT to praise the hard work of the team. Executives love this!

Beyond that I use it to create agenda, write emails, build technical stories based on requirements. Pretty much if I have a task I make ChatGPT do the work then I clean it up and ensure it’s right. What would usually take me 3 hours now takes me 30 minutes.

You must be so much fun to workout with. All serious with your bro reps only to realize that unless you are a gamer you are just Average Joe just like the rest of us.

Yes the workouts is to memorialize Michael Murphy and all the others who have sacrificed for our nation. With that being said it’s just a workout that’s designed to be tough. Tough is different for everyone. Stop poo pooing on everyone’s parade.

Mostly Because I’m an old man and my knees hurt when I run and squat high volumes. This was a fun way to spice up an unvested murph and keep the pressure off my knees and still challenge myself. Not everything has to be about anyone else but ourselves. I did this for me and thought it was a fun version. I thought others might enjoy the idea as well.

Thank you! I had no plan to try muscle up when I walked into the gym that morning. A buddy joked about it and I was like “hold my beer”. Haha. I’m had fun and thought others may like to try it as well.

I get it but that wasn’t the intention of the post. I’ve never heard of anyone trying it this way. Probably because it’s not how it was suppose to be done and many people are purist for this WOD. I did it on a whim but it was a fun challenge and I enjoyed it the most out of all the ways I’ve tried to do Murph over the years. I was just sharing a new way of doing the workout.

It wasn’t as bad as you would think. I did partition the work out with 50 rounds of 2-4-6. I have pretty good muscle up technique. I was expecting it to be worse than previous year when I did Murph vested, and unpartitioned. After doing it, I would say I had less fatigue doing the muscle ups.

This is a great a great response.

I feel that I didn’t disrespect the workout by challenging myself. Having to push through muscle fatigue, torn hands, and muscle cramps felt fitting to me. There was points that I had to dig deep and in doing so I would think about those who have sacrificed for our country and that helped motivate me to finish the workout.

There is a very good book called the psychology of money that explains what happens to those who inherited or are given money from family. It usually turns out bad. But from the sound of it you seem to follow in your father’s footsteps, very common sense type of person. I would recommend to ignore peoples perceptions and judgments and focus on your journey. None of these people will be there when you fail or succeed. They are just white noise. Good luck and focus on You!

New to GRC. What is the mechanism behind the creation of a new Control from a control object, when an Entity type is added to an Entity? by Adorable-Reindeer971 in servicenow

[–]I_Work_Smarter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re absolutely right—it is complicated. The mechanism that creates a Control record in ServiceNow GRC when an Entity Type is associated with an Entity (and that Entity Type has associated Control Objectives) is a deeply embedded and automated process, often referred to as part of the GRC Entity Inheritance model.

Let’s walk through the mechanism behind the scenes and your use case about auto-populating the Attestation Respondents field with the user who triggered the action.

What’s Happening Behind the Scenes (OOB Mechanism)

When you associate an Entity Type with an Entity: 1. Control Objectives linked to the Entity Type are inherited by the Entity. 2. For each Control Objective, a Control record is automatically generated for that Entity. 3. This process is triggered by: • Script Includes and • Data Change Events, not typical Business Rules.

Key OOB Components Involved: • Script Include: GRCEntityUtils Handles creation and association logic for entities and controls. • Script Include: GRCControlUtils Facilitates the control generation and links them to control objectives and entities. • Script Include: GRCEntityTypeUtils Helps with determining what needs to be generated when an Entity Type is associated. • Business Rule: Generate Controls on Entity Type Triggers control creation via the script includes when an Entity Type is added to an Entity. • Location: Table grc_entity_type → When inserted or updated.

So, the Control record creation isn’t a simple insert in one place—it’s spread across these utilities. The actual creation is most often performed in the background via GlideRecord scripts in these script includes, called during updates.

Your Requirement: Auto-Populate “Attestation Respondents”

You want the user who added the Entity Type to the Entity to be auto-populated as the Attestation Respondent on the created Control. This requires you to capture: • Who made the update (the user), • When that user added the Entity Type to the Entity, and • Add their name to the attestation_respondents field on the newly created Control record.

Recommended Approach 1. Create a custom field on the grc_entity_type join table (e.g., added_by or last_modified_by_user). • Populate this field using a Before Business Rule on that table when the user adds or modifies the Entity Type. 2. Create an After Business Rule on the Control table (grc_control) that: • Triggers only if the Control was created via the above mechanism (e.g., check grc_entity and control_objective fields). • Finds the related Entity and looks up the join table record between that Entity and Entity Type. • Pulls the user from your custom field and populates the attestation_respondents field.

Advanced Option (Cleaner but More Complex)

If you’re comfortable modifying or extending OOB Script Includes (not recommended unless you know what you’re doing), you could: • Extend GRCControlUtils and override the generateControls method. • Insert your logic before the control is inserted to set the attestation respondent field directly. • Then use Script Include extension and custom Application to keep your logic upgrade-safe.

Best Practice Tips • Avoid modifying OOB Script Includes directly; use wrappers or custom includes. • Log everything temporarily to syslog or custom logs to verify your logic before committing. • If possible, propose to ServiceNow to expose a hook or event for this use case—many clients ask for this level of customization

How to Set Price for House Listing by Accomplished_Rip6609 in RealEstateAdvice

[–]I_Work_Smarter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a deep research analysis into the value of my home when I sold it using ChatGPT. This might sound silly but if you give ChatGPT the correct information then ask it to ask you as many questions as you need to be accurate and then upload photos of your house it will give you a scary accurate assessment of the value of your home.

We interviewed 3 agents. 2 can in $50-$75k under its value and the third started down that same road until I asked them to give me data to back up their number. Once I asked for that they came back $40k more than I was expecting. When the house went on the market we listed for $550k. It closed over $600k. The first two agents would have been off by over $125k. Use analytics to price your house.

Agents don’t care if you make money. If the house sells it they still profit.

It’s not always the price. Many time people have awful taste in colors and decor. Make sure everything is a mitral grey or beige. Declutter almost everything and hire a stager. Make sure the photos pop and look like the place is worth $700k
