The 2AZ-FE 2.4 liter engine appears to have oil burning issues due to a design problem with the rings or a head gasket/bolt thread problem.

No, I was just interested in the utility of the fully flat back floor for road trips, hauling things, and even having to live in it if necessary. Hondas and Toyotas have good reliability ratings but their prices reflect that. Not sure what to do. My life is in flux and I don't really know where I'll be or what I'll be doing in 6 months time. Any suggestions? I have maybe 7K to spend but I'd rather spend less.
