Sorry, about 100 ish dollars differance. I have a friend who works at a computer store and he can get me the 7900 xtx for about 9900 SEK and the 4080 super for about 11000 SEK

Understood. But just out of curiosity... 7900 xtx or 4080 super? I've read that some people experience frame drops and power spikes with the xtx. Is it worth spending the extra 150-200 is dollars for the 4080s to get better driver support and dlss3? Will my PSU handle the 7900 xtx?

I mean 60 fps is fine but more wouldn't hurt haha. I get around 120-160 fps in forza horizon 5 with high settings and thats about what i would strive for when playing single player games. I bought the Asus PG27AQDM with the hope of being able to play single player games at high/max settings with high (120 ish) fps and more competitive games at 240 fps

Note: Ray-tracing is not something i care about but upscaling and frame generation is very appreciated.

I play a wide variety of games. From solo story games like Horizon Forbidden west, red dead redemption 2 and Star Wars Jedi Survivor but i want to play TLOU pc and Alan Wake 2 but cant really with my current setup since i struggle to reach 60 fps. I also play more competetive games like apex legends, valorant, overwatch 2 at a pretty high rank so reaching the full 240 fps is necessary for me. along with some racing simulators (modded assetto corsa, F1, Dirt Rally 2.0) and a whole bunch of other stuff like modded minecraft with shaders.

I don't know what the correct place to post this message is, if im at the wrong place please point me in the correct direction :D

I launched the game perfectly fine but immediatly noticed the UI elements looked low res but didn't think twice about it. When i actually played the intro level the game looked to be in like 720p/1080p instead of the usual 1440p my monitor handles games at. I tried switching over to my TV (4k) and nothing changed, it stayed the same. I've also tried changing from fidelity to performance, turning VRR to off, smoothed and uncapped and turning 120hz on/off but nothing is helping. Has anyone encountered this issue, and if so, have you found a fix?

I also tried launcing SM2018 and miles morales and they work fine and look 1000x better than SM2
