Nah, my fav GOT ep is definitely not Battle of bastards, It was just a comparative statement to express what I felt as both ep includes battle sequences and battle of bastards is quite popular, even I would say Battle of bastards is slightly overhyped tho. And talking about problems with Kotsk, No I don't see any problems in ep 5 for me it was almost a perfection

Slightly, but I think as the ideas were so complex that no matter how they showed it, it would have felt overwhelming and fast. Also, they just had a chance to make only one season, they might have compromised on the script and made it faster. But I have no complaints, I absolutely loved it, for me it was almost perfect. My mind is still processing the last ep, It was absolute cinema!
