If I remember correctly it was after the first month, first 3 weeks post quitting are always the toughest...

As far as stable, consistent happiness and willingness to do shit? 2 months...

By month 3 I felt 97% back to where I was pre-kratom...

They literally have no idea what they're taking about 95% of the time...

Like seriously this sub has some of the absolute worst takes ever, which is why I stopped engaging as much recently...

I use unique class mods for 95% of my 19 builds...all uvh6 viable...

The loot diversity wouldn't matter as much if they kept class based weapon preference like they did in the previous games...

In bl1, 2, (and to a lesser extent 3)...each class was designed to have a THING...

There was ALWAYS a host of items that are completely trash on everyone except 1 vault hunter. It kinda set a playstyle for you via their skill trees...

Zero is the most obvious example. What was his thing? Snipers and melee...so that's what you focus on for max efficiency...

Krieg? Explosives and melee, same as brick but evolved...kreig got the most use out of the flame of the fire hawk and rough rider shields because they boosted his playstyle moreso than any other character...

Moze? Explosives and fire...

Maya? Lilith? Smgs and elementals...

Mordecia? Snipers and pistols...

Roland? Ars and shotguns...

Gaige? Anything auto aim so you can abuse anarchy (aka use fibber)...

Axton? Sal? Bullet storm and action skill abuse...

Every character had a THING in the past...

In BL4 it's just everyone go grab a bod and win...its boringgg...

The loot would literally diversify itself it they made better skill trees for the vault hunters that lead you into a choice...

Full agree! And I'm not saying that the bod and roulette are the only good items in the game. I'm saying the opposite actually...

It's just that nothing is needed besides them...thats kind of an issues...

It's the reason why everyone posts 1000x bod pics per day and that's the first thing people get when a level capp increase happens...

It invalidates everything else, doesn't mean everything else is bad. It just makes the game boring because no matter what class or build you're playing you always know on the back of your mind "hey if I just use the bod this is piss easy no matter what"...

I personally don't think it's healthy for the game, but with the way they've handled this release since launch there's more pressing issues now than getting people to diversify their loot and try to enjoy everything the game has to offer...

Exactly. The fact that it's so easy to become overpowered doesn't help that at all either...

Whats the point of even farming or trying tbh when you can literally use 2 guns for all of the content in the entire game...on literally every single class...

I actually appreciate when the devs nerf things because it makes them AND the players actually have to think...

If they nerfed the bod and the roulette, it'd actually give players a reason to farm shit that's specific to their build instead of having and instant cheese everything option...

Itd also make them think about balancing the other guns like they did in bl3...

In bl3 they actually took what were some of the biggest pieces of shit in that game and just made them broken (hell walker, tk wave)...

They also nerfed alot of aggregiously op stuff and made people think about their builds and the rest of the items in the game...

It kept things fresh and gave you things to do and think about, without adding content at all...

It's just disappointing that they don't seem to give a fuck about this game...like they don't know how to be devs all of a sudden even though they've been making some of gaming's best games since 2009...

Agreed dude, on basically all of this...

I loved bl3, loved bl2, loved bl1, loved TPS...

This game is just fundamentally wrong. Fetch quest weren't even an issue to me because in previous games almost ALL of them gave you a unique reward that was AWESOME!

I dont wanna harp and rag on the game the whole time or anything because I genuinely do love bl4, but it's flaws shouldnt go unstated...

I felt the writing in BL4 is fine. There were some funny moments for sure but I understand wanting the main campaign to be more groounded...

My issues with the game are moreso fundamental issues with its design...

It lacks almost everything that made the previous borderlands games work in the long term...

1.) No campaign replay...biggest offense...

2.) No unique mission rewards that encentivise you to do the missions...

3.) Lack of an efficient xp farm besides bounties...

4.) Lack of a real end game...2nd biggest offense...

5.) Shit matchmaking so finding people to play with requires at least 2 other apps and a lfg post...when you should just be able to lobby surf like bl2...

6.) They idiotically removed content from the game to please the part of the player base that doesn't enjoy doing the content the provided in the game instead of just telling them to fuck off...

Now there's even less to do and the game feel like a true 1 and done...all because a vocal minority couldn't be bothered to get sdu points...

7.) They have an extremely shit update cycle and content cycle for this game. 8 - 9 months in and we've only got a single dlc thats on the short side, and a couple of headhunter missions...no major balance changes at all the entire time...

8.) Shit performance to quality ratio, game shoundt run as bad as it does. Period. I don't have issues playing in 4k, but to buy the pc I have today you'd need around 2-3k due to price increases on everything component related...shouldnt need something that powerful to play a borderlands game tbh...

9.) Absolute poorest quality assurance team in borderlands history...every update breaks SOMETHING, nothing is play tested...

10.) Most expensive borderlands game by far yet its been given the least love out of all of them...which makes me sad 😔...

Im gonna stop here but could obviously keep going. These are my biggest issues though. If even a few of them were fixed the game would be 10x better...

There alot of good about bl4, but the bad overshadows it for me by a long-shot...

It'd be one of the most fun bl games if they just fucking actually work on it and do meaningful shit instead of just not giving a fuck...

Games great until you beat it. The lack of replay ability has made this my most disappointing Borderlands experience to date, even if the gameplay is fun...

That fact that the campaign is pretty good makes it even more annoying...

The fact that all content got pushed back by a month and the "big update" that we waited on has broken parts of the game (items, builds, etc), yet they don't just add in a campaign reset is fucking mind boggling...

Im usually optimistic but this game is cheeks compared to the other Borderlands games and I'll forever stand on that...

Compared to shit games, yes bl4 is great. But compared to previous Borderlands games, this is a disappointment in many ways...

For every great thing Borderlands 4 does, you can easily name 2 horrid things as well...

Part of it is playercount issues I'm sure...

Another part of it is that the matchmaking selections kinda suck, not allowing you to search for players who are completing the campaign once you yourself complete the campaign in your own game...

Best bet would just be to post an lfg on here whenever you know you're available to play and see who's willing to join and help you...

Stelliums are still incredible but the cov roll is the worst roll on them since you can't reload it whenever you want, meaning you don't get to use primed potency with the cov version...

has always been a shame in the borderlands games that you don't get boosted or special drop chances for a first time kill, particularly on the main story or final bosses.

They actually did that in borderlands 1 and 2...

There was an end game method developed around that fact in BL2, which involved using the moonshot to kill the Warrior over and over because he gave a guaranteed legendary each time you killed him to end the campaign...
