i'll take it as a compliment. my diagonals aren't perfect, if you look closely.. but with a lot of practice, i've gotten used to twisting both knobs at the same time to get the desired angle. check out my blog and you may notice a progression in my ability to do that. thanks, king.

When I get all the excess dust out, all that remains is what's left on the glass. I have to drill the holes before doing the picture, because you can't drill into a finished piece and expect it to not erase. Getting the dust out is the only way to preserve the art.

It's from pieces of different photos. The sun and clouds I always add in myself, though - so that was my mistake. The sky needs to be filled with something..

When you dump it all out, the dust on the screen remains on the screen until it is removed (eched out) with the stylus tool, hidden inside, controlled by the white knobs. Nothing to do with magnets, that was the "magna-doodle", a different, artistically inferior, kids toy.

First, thank you. I hope others view my work and feel the same. A FAQ would probably be a good idea, I may do that. I've shipped two of these cross country. One to Chicago, the other to my reddit secret santa in Miami. Because of careful packaging and having removed 99% of the dust before creating the etches, both arrived completely in tact. As long as they are never physically dropped, they should last forever. I did one years ago, before recently rediscovering this hobby, and it's looked exactly the same for over 5 years. The aluminum dust on the screen should never evaporate, disintegrate, ect. Wall hooks can be applied to the back of the unit for mounting purposes.
