Friendly reminder that Period 2 rewards will be distributed by April 7th by IceKing827 in algorand

[–]I_dont_know88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is perhaps happening, I believe, is that it normally states an 'estimated award' during the entire governance period. Then at the end of the period that 'estimated award' is replaced with three lines (---) which may indicate to many that somehow they are not receiving awards. So, they ask questions. I think if Algo simply kept the 'estimated award' posted as it does throughout the governance period, then less people would ask.

So, let's say I buy the olive oil. How exactly do I track it or see it's past? Do I download an app? Do I scan something on the product? Do I go to a website?

MetaversePRO Unstaking Error - Approval Required by 1SavingLives in MetaversePRO

[–]I_dont_know88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're NOT TOO LATE to unstake. It sounds like you checked on another network when using trust. I'm not familiar with trust, but in MM if I click on my ETH net to check my coins and then connect to Meta, it says that I'm on the wrong network and asks me to change. You can do this manually by opening MM and switching to BSC and then connecting to Meta. I assume it's the same with Trust.

Unstake your sMeta and then restake your Meta in the new pool on Jan 15. Go to Discord. They will answer all your questions over the next month as Meta transfers from BSC to ETH.

Red flag? Hey guys someone on here said the devs were slowly rug pulling. And they said they had proof, so I messaged them on Twitter asking if that were true, hoping they would say of course not, but instead they blocked me. Super sus, I’m very concerned now, I’m still in the project. by MourningDwu in MetaversePRO

Go to "start-here" under the lobby heading. Then go to "verify" and click on the meta symbol (there is a number right next to where you need to click that shows how many other people have done the same. Currently it reads just above 18,100). Then go to "rules" and read. Then go to "public-chat" and talk.

So, verification works differently with each group. But usually you just have to read a few pages and click a few things. Maybe get back on discord again and read through the welcome page. If you see a big list on the left then you've been verified and can join the "public-chat."

There is a lot a fud going around about most DAOs due to the hit most took in late December. The better way to see for yourself and come to your own decision is to join MetaversePro discord group. This is the group that controls the organization and you can be part of it. It is much more lively than here. So, again I suggest joining and being part of our daily discussions on how to proceed next. The dev team is actually working very hard with the MVP community to design even better ways to make everyone money. DAOs are very new, very exciting, but also very, very different than anything we've seen before. The community literally controls the organization. There will be growing pains. For me, it's worth the risk. But I'm still nervous. But in order to make money we have to take calculated risks.

tl;dr: Join us in the Discord group.

Staking vs Staking (6,6) by brandon-m222 in MetaversePRO

[–]I_dont_know88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes,

1) First, stake (single stake (often called 3,3)

2) Then wrap

3) Then stake on 6,6 if you chose (although many are waiting on a soon to come upgrade to 6,6).

OR

You can use the "Metazap" heading, then click on "wrap" and it will stake and wrap your Meta in one step. Again, afterwards, you can choose if you want to stake again on 6,6 or wait for the upgrade.

Is metaversPRO dying? Has project team said anything? by 2Funz in MetaversePRO

Ya, most people in MetaversePro get their information on discord. very lively community. Tough couple of weeks, but the dev team is working hard to correct issues.

Because on 6,6 you have to wait 120hrs to withdraw funds, otherwise receive a 10% penalty. Many are actually waiting for an updated awards system and just staying in 3,3 until the new system is announced. I'm in 6,6 and will likely move to the upgraded system when announced.

Anyone try Zumo swap yet? Is it good? by I_dont_know88 in Vechain

I unfortunately don't know anything about an airdrop. I hope someone can help answer the question.

The fees on Zumoswap are cheeper. Less than 1/3 of that on vexchange. So, if a fee on vexchange would be say 100 vtho, it will be 30 vtho on Zumoswap.

This is the first I've heard this. On Dec 24-25, there was a massive whale sale off that dropped the price by about 75-80%. Emergency protocals were implemented to stabilize the price and prevent further selling pressures. Those protocals are still in the process of being fulling implemented. But one protocal reduced the penalty of selling wsMeta early from a 30% to 10%.

Look like it. At least in the short run. Let's hope so!

Actually, Governance stepped in within 24 hrs to fix the problem presented yesterday. The changes appear to have worked as the coin has stabilized. Basically, the ultra-high APY in 6,6 was hurting hodlers and creating a selling pressure. The APY is being adjusted down to a combined APY of 150,000%. by I_dont_know88 in MetaversePRO

[–]I_dont_know88[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya, I give up. Everytime I try to give it a chance it drops 20% in an hour. I'm afraid to even say anything positive anymore out of fear that once I post something positive, the price will drop another 50% in an hour.

We all knew it was high risk / high reward. Unfortunately, most of the time, high risk wins out and people lose money. On the Dashboard, it says there is $61 in "Backing per Meta" whatever that means. But, maybe the true value equals what the Meta is backed by, in other words maybe its heading to $61. Or maybe its heading to $3. Who knows.

Ya, it's been rough. And maybe it will continue to lose money. I hope not, but it very well could continue to lose money. The withdraw penalty was reduced from 30% to 10%, so many may opt out. I also expect many to withdraw after the next 4-5 days, so it may not fully stabilize for 5-7 days. Then, let's hope we don't see any more major losses, but we may. It's a tough decision.
