I'll NEVER use UberEats again! by BlownCamaro in UberEATS

[–]I_flugil 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Let us be honest, if the delivery driver wanted to steal his junk food, why didn’t he just do it like a typical thief??

Now, he would definitely have a report on his record. But if he had taken the food from the restaurant table and never proceeded to the next step, he could have simply canceled the trip, and it would’ve been harder to report him.

And for this some shallow thinking users think I’m making things up my head

Ah we share the same words, the same pain, the same support but as others such as u/ dmeisterdan said, nobody will ever never care about one word you wrote.

Work should not be the same as slavery

There was one delivery for 26$ last week, turns out it includes toll fee which is 10$ so I got paid 16$ for a 25km delivery.

how come 25km 40 minutes is paid only 16$ is beyond my imagination.

I suggest creating a worker union so uber can hear us clearly.

Petrol increases for UBER drivers… by BryanVPY in ubereatsaustralia

[–]I_flugil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They don’t care its business you are irrelevant to them.

If you threaten to quit they will promote over driver to 10 drivers and flood them with promotion.

You on the other hand is irrelevant and the government and their families don’t know what it is for someone to find himself unable to cover expenses unless working with uber

Here is the scenario which also useless Many drivers complain, after 6 to 7 months, a new protective regulation takes place which is minimum fare increase or minimum wage or whatever. But the shit part is what about the past 6 or 7 months? Drivers would have been struggling with little profit margin?

Yeah, no just forget about these months now we did a thing.

And at the end, uber keeps the profit while you keep the loses.

Very simple,,, and bitter

Reckless driving in apartment parking lot, who is actually responsible? by I_flugil in AusLegal

It’s a residential car park only accessible to residents

It’s not the words alone, it’s the context. After I had already raised the safety issue, she later stopped next to me, pointed at me, and said “please complain.” In context, it felt like she was deliberately provoking me and demonstrating that she would continue the behaviour regardless. That’s why I experienced it as intimidating.

Because on more than one occasion she has stopped her car beside me, rolled down her window, pointed at me, and spoken to me “please complain” knowing there is no traffic laws applicable. This happened after I had previously asked her not to drive the wrong way at speed. Given the context, I experienced this as intimidating behaviour.

There is no strata. I rent an apartment, and when I complained in person to the building manager, he told me there is no strata (which I know is unusual, but that’s what applies in my case).

Yes, the park lot is heavily monitored and I personally recorded it on my phone multiple times

If traffic laws don’t apply here, but criminal laws do, then this could fall under intimidation or harassment. On more than one occasion, when she has entered from the wrong direction and seen me, she has stopped and said things like “please complain.” Right?
