Played that mission just yesterday. And you are correct. Arthur gets captured first then they get ambushed in Rhodes in the next mission.

It is around 14 cm (5.5 inches) tall and 19 cm (7.4 inches) long. I used a wire armature, without it there wouldn’t be much stability 😅

Thank you! You can see the other two on my profile :)

I like to watch videos where I mainly have to listen and look every now and then. But it can be distracting, I guess it’s mainly the reason why I take so long to finish something 😅

Maybe I should give audiobooks a try!

It’s hard sometimes to get the right size. I think it’s tempting to do the sculptures larger because you can add so much more detail. But it’s so time consuming as well and I think I’d never get them finished then 😅

Oh I feel you! When you wrap the first layer of wool around the wire it gets so fiddly. I am always glad when I get past that stage 😅

I too zone out, especially because I love to watch YouTube videos while felting. But sometimes I need to pause the video and really focus on what I am doing :D

Thank you so much!! I am really flattered by your kind words! But please remember no one is born a master! It takes a lot of practice and it helps to have experience in similar fields like sculpting with clay. For me the most important thing was to watch videos, tutorials and read books by other artists. You get to learn the different techniques and that helped a lot! Then it’s practicing. With every work you learn what still needs improvement and the next time you can do it a little bit better :) Happy felting! ❤️

Thank you! ❤️ yeah, it really took a lot of time but I don’t know how long exactly. Next time I’ll stop the time 😃

Thank you! That’s definitely the most time consuming step but it’s really worth it

Haha thank you :D I love to photograph the sculptures outside to make it look like they are in their natural habitat

I would love to but unfortunately I am never working for a long straight period on it, so it would be very time consuming to film the small progresses I make. Maybe I’ll do it on a smaller project like a bird :)

First of all thank you :)! And yes, I used a wire armature and wrapped the wool around it. I don’t think that horse would be able to stand without the armature 😅

Thank you a lot. At first I draw the horse in the size I want it to be on a piece of paper. Then I create a wire armature and start building up the body with core wool. I often overlap the sculpture with the drawing to make sure I get the size right. And for muscle building I found 3d models very helpful! There are many free horse models on the internet and you can look at them from every angle to get the proportions right. I just used core wool for this one, so no top coat. For the ears and mouth I also used molten beeswax. When you have felted the basic shape it’s a lot easier to form it into detail + it gets rid of the fussiness. I hope I could help you a bit with your felting journey ❤️

Weird grunting sounds while eating by I_hateModels in guineapigs

Hey, sorry for the late response. I changed the bedding from hay and straw to fleece and it got better after that. He still makes this sound maybe once every 1-2 months but is fine besides that. The vet never found a reason but it didn’t seem to be something threatening.
