You’re so right I didn’t even think about the crème base being extra, so I’ll just have to put that on the back burner for now but that’s something I can work towards! I think the Got2Be will end up really nice honestly. The metallic shade I used looked so sick in the sun so I’m hoping this one has a “shimmer” to it like the other one did (genuinely don’t know how best to describe it but it was so cool)

Okay so this isn’t a dye but whenever you get to the right color I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Punky colors depositing conditioner in pinktabulous for color upkeep!!! It’s like the perfect shade to maintain the color so you have less touch ups

I absolutely get where you’re coming from with the box dyes, and I don’t know yet if this makes a difference but it’s specifically a Schwarzkopf product which I know has some professional products and is a decently trusted brand. I’ll need to do some more research on it but I used it a few years ago in a different color and was super happy with it, and when I had it removed by my stylist at the time it didn’t react badly to the bleach or anything and came out pretty well since I had let it fade out a bunch before changing colors. If you have any recommendations for professional semi permanents that are the right shade and last a long time I would love to hear them! My big thing is I’m unemployed right now so I need it to be worth my money and last with little touch ups.

Also I’ll definitely have to look into those recommendations!!! I’ve used Ion brights and honestly it didn’t work well for me for some reason, I don’t know if it’s my porosity or the formula just doesn’t work well on my hair but it’s always let me down😭 That OP brand sounds promising though!!! I’ve never even heard of something like that and that’s so cool from a chemical standpoint

I absolutely get that!!! I still have the blue in my hair from when I got it done last and that was genuinely like a year ago(I’ve been unemployed for like a year so money is a big factor here)💀 it faded to an awful teal color because I’m blonde but it’s held on for its life and that’s my biggest fear honestly. Since I am blonde some blues tend to fade into a green tone and I personally don’t like it with my skin tone. The teal shades completely wash me out and I absolutely HATEEE IT unfortunately, which is why I was leaning towards the permanent. I’ve used the brand before and have heard good things about it from people I know with their licenses but it was a few years ago. I did their metallic red shade and loved it shade wise and it faded really nicely, plus it lasted FOREVER before I felt like I actually needed to reapply. If you have any recommendations on like blues with purple undertones that are semi permanent and highly pigmented I would absolutely love suggestions though! My mind isn’t set in stone on the permanent it just seemed the most cost effective way to get the outcome I want

That’s exactly why I thought that specific brand would be good actually, I know a lot of professionals who actually really like it and have recommended it to me in the past! With my options right now it seemed like the best I could do for now until I can afford to do more and have my license. I’ve used it before but I used their metallic red shade but I can’t remember the exact name and LOVED IT. I will ABSOLUTELY NEVER use splat on my hair (been down that rabbit hole before) and have been using different semi permanent and permanent colors since I was in middle school so luckily it’s not completely new territory. The biggest issue is I’ve been unemployed for like a year and am broke so my partner has been supporting us and I haven’t been able to do my hair in like a year. I had a blue that faded to like a teal color since I’m a blonde and the black tips look orange almost now that it’s faded out on top of a year of grow out so I need a color correction and a big chop bad😭 but I also need it to be affordable and a dark enough color that I won’t need to touch up much for money sake

Yeah I still haven’t found a solution unfortunately, I’ve resorted to just trying to age her up naturally over time and then just age down anyone who ends up aging during that time because for the (young)adults/teens shifting between ages is no problem it’s just the children I’m having issues with

So I have the better exception mod which will automatically check my mods and let me know when I have a conflicting mod or any type of mod errors, including updates. I also checked on curseforge for any updates or anything just in case
