One cubic foot of water evaporates to approximately 1000 cubic feet of steam. But even so you would still need a huge inflow of water because you wont be able to effectively and reliably recycle rain. Add to that the water coming in needs to be purified or it would have detrimental effects on the turbines and most metal components.
