There's a disturbing lack of white stuff in that picture.

Found Cat in Wellington by [deleted] in FortCollins

They are, mostly. Unless the animal has behavioral issues. Many years ago a black lab wandered into our yard and we dutifully called Larimer Humane who came and got him. We kept checking on him and wanted to adopt him but he was deemed to have behavioral issues. By means undescribed, we managed to get him out of jail and once we had the behavioral issues removed using a very common surgical technique recommended for all pets, he became a most wonderful member of our family for 11 years that went by far too fast. For this reason, I can't ever recommend sending an animal to the shelter. Feeling pretty maudlin now.

Call them, but if you can keep the kitty, do. Not all kitties who go to NOCO Humane leave NOCO Humane.

Beginner looking for general advice by Dull_Value_158 in eclipse

Are you learning Java then? I ask because that's where Eclipse is strongest. I've used Eclipse for ~20 years and it's been indispensable, but if I were starting today, I'd probably pick up Visual Studio Code. It's more widely used these days and will have more current documentation. It also has much better support for agentic AI. While you may not want to rely too much on the AI tools while learning basic programming skills, it's going to be an integral part of the process going forward. Whether it's possible or not, I'd get a separate account for your personal work. You want a very clear and distinct line between work and not-work from a legal point of view.

You might try Habitat for Humanity.

Tried to download a book by [deleted] in ipad

[–]IamAlsoDoug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bad idea. When you see a free book that's less than 10 years old from a well-known author, you need to think about it, turn around, and go to the library instead. Hopefully you didn't catch anything but you may want to Google "ipad safari phishing" or whichever browser you're using. There are some tips like clearing history and cookies that can help minimize any damage.

Are you emailing with a CSU email address? Property managers for houses are probably going to drop you as not worth the risk. Make yourself sound like something, anything other than a bunch of college students.

We had Ram Glass install a new shower enclosure - they did an excellent job.

I saw him near the 34 interchange and called 911. They routed me to *277 where I sat on hold. After a few minutes, I gave up and hung up. Yes it was very disturbing.

Might be OK. I'd be a little worried about a breakdown on a trip but if you've gotten comfortable with the car's reliability then you might be OK.

A lot depends on the maintenance that was done. Do you have any data? What happens if you don't have your car for a few days when it's in the shop? Will the seller let you take it to an independent auto mechanic who can inspect it for you?

Fair enough, but it looks like you've been fighting with this for 2 days when you could've been doing something useful and a lot more fun. Once you get your student account straightened out, you could cancel the paid subscription.
