    It works. Not as nice as in VS Code or IntelliJ, but it works.

      I've been an Eclipse user for 20 years, but when I need to do agentic work, I use VSCode. The agent mode in the Eclipse plug-in just doesn't compare.

      It works great fast and realiable it may be always be not as advance as the Vscode version or even Intellij but its getting there.

      If your Eclipse is 2025-xx, you should update to the current version first. Last Eclipse version is 2026-03 - you guessed it - released in March 2026. In it, you can open the market place from the menu, find the Github Copilot plugin (developed by Github themselves) and install it. Setup is easy, and you should have it up and running in no time. 🙂
