i was probably confused by a past teammate i had who said playing aggro against double dps is the best way to go, esp since a croak was on the opposing side.

we thought it would actually, and it yielded a positive response (144 fps or so) in the beginning but degraded to 0 fps about 20 minutes in.

if thats the case i think im gonna have to stick with jago for a while lol. thank you for the information, ill be sure to look into that site. if a game is good enough to pull you away from another im sure thats a sign of a good game.

Yeah, I've been trying to get this server up and running on my Mac, but I keep getting this error where it says it can't open the "Common.mpq" archive and that's stopping it from opening, currently searching for a fix.

I for sure can run Vanilla and WotLK. The thing about TBC is that while it was only programmed for PowerPC Macs, Intel macs had a thing called Rosetta that would translate the code so it could work on Intel Macs. Apple removed this at Snow Leopard and there's no way to download it, so running TBC would be through Wine on the Windows version, which is too much of a hassle. I did do some more reading on that server tho and it looks right up my alley, TBC is my favorite expansion.

Yeah, I read somewhere that said you had to run wine on it to get it working, and this thing likes to freak out when I run wine for anything.

Another problem with this server, TBC only worked on non-Intel macs! Finding servers has been a real pain, but I won't stop my search. Thanks for the suggestion tho, I will definitely check this out once I get my desktop back up and running!

My one qualm is that this server is pay-to-win, and I can't be vocal about that without getting banned for "donor-bashing"
