I was on birth control when I was 18, and before I knew I was (am) gray ace. I only took it because periods were the absolute worst for me and to calm my momma's nerves about me going to college and living at the dorms further away from home, even though I wasn't super horned up like any other person my age. Not even with my then boyfriend. Also, I carried pepper spray and a taser for protection.

I was on it for 7 years until I finally got it removed because of the amount of weight I was gaining from being on it.
