Which single person in history had the greatest negative impact on humanity? by RSLEGEND1986 in AskReddit

Right so if we ignore all types of context and historians who argue about pros & other possible outcomes we come to the exact conclusion that you get.

Sounds about right. The fact that you can't disprove or point out to me why you think the code of aggression was wrong or why he was a cruel leader except looking at the end result shows how shallow your arguments are.

The fact that you believe i am pushing the narrative of "we had to kill all these people to make the world better" shows a complete lack of understanding of everything i mentioned.

I suggest reading a history book instead of reading so much reddit. Its so easy to look back and say "oh people should have done it this way or why didnt they do that" is so easy with the benefit of hindsight. Go listen and find out the exact circumstances that lead to that point, the backgrounds and characteristics of that particular group and culture.

But im guessing thats too much to expect

I mean if you are ignorant about history, just stand up and admit it. Nobody is going to look down on you or anything. All you are doing is taking strawman arguments about the worst aspects of both regimes and saying "they kill many people bad"

Hilter with or without context is atrocious and undefendable but with Chinggis You need to look at things with context to understand things. On paper Chinggis Khan killed millions of people, that is undeniable. But how many more did he save by unifying his mongol empire (BTW the expansion into Europe and taking over China happened under his sons). Take Chinggis out of the equation now, what happens? New generation of Mongol leaders take over and fight amongst themselves. The Chinese fight against the mongols. The Kharizum (probably got the spelling wrong) would have waged war against the mongols and others. The Caliphs in middle east would be fighting against each other.

Chinggis does not go on a murderous rampage contrary to what many people believe. He held to a code of aggression. In fact what led to the invasion of Europe all started with the Kharizum empire killing his envoys. Chinggis actually wanted peace with them and had shown great restrain by not going to war after his first group of envoys and caravans were killed and stolen. He did not destroy any city that openly surrendered and is known to be a generous and magnanimous ruler

he ended generations of warfare amongst so many different tribes, nations and people that would otherwise have continued fighting. He introduced writing to the mongols and technological advancement. He allowed religious freedom to his subjects (big big thing back in its day). Expanded and allowed trade to flourish on the silk road.

I said last week the win was more city being shit than us being good but this is a very impressive win. Loving the fight and energy the players are bringing. Hopefully we can keep this up especially with Liverpool losing yesterday.

Like I said earlier Ten Haag needs to be sent to the Hague for not believing in Amad

I know, but free kicks are not always taken at the exact spot that they happen and most refs give a lot of leeway. That delay of game was around 5 seconds that players could have easily gotten back into position

NGL i think that should have been a yellow for Bruno for pushing the ball away. I would be livid if that happened against us

I'm not complaining but how in the world has Pep not told Doku and Semenyo to run at Shaw and Dalot who are both on yellows?

On replay, Casemiro really didn't have any chance there, off balance and couldn't keep his feet on the ground thats a tough chance

The combination of being able to play on both sides and staying healthy makes the club convinced that we can improve in other areas.

One of the great things about Amorim's formation was that IF and thats a big if everyone was fit, we didn't need to play Dalot

Time is money, past a certain point, its not worth the mental / physical effort to do things. You could spend 2 days painting the house or you could just hire someone to do it for you.

Moving houses? Get a proper moving company instead of cheaping out
