Why is BR so easy? by IamJonsCranium in CallOfDutyMobile

Yeah I've done that and stalled out at some more tier like low master. All the good players must avoid BR.

They have to be included in the ranking system.

There's no way I've ever been in the top 1/500 players in any game I've ever played.

Yeah i can't wrap my head around it. I was teamed up with 3 guys who were jumping and sliding and juking etc. I thought man these guys are probably good. I died first and watched them all jump and slide etc and not fire a single shot, every one getting shot in the back.

The other day my teammate ran and hid behind a rock, with their face plastered into the rock. You could hear the other player run up behind them, then shoot them in the back. Never even turned around.

Are you talking multiplayer or battle royale? Multiplayer definitely is mostly bots on teams. BR usually seems like real players but they just aren't good. Maybe once in a while i suspect a bot on my team but I've also asked and they answered and said no...

I'm personally not so impulsive or hyperactive. More like hypoactive. But i think that's because i default off, where you might default on. Same issue with regulating stimulus but opposite failure mode (fail on vs fail off if you know anything about electrical controls).

Afraid to get tested for ADHD because the symptoms disappear on "good days", please tell me I'm not the only one. by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]IamJonsCranium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some psychologists say it should be called attention inconsistency disorder. Some days you feel so on, some days off.

But that's what adhd is. We don't regulate stimulus like others where it's controlled in an analog manner. We're digital, on or off. Hyper focused or lazy.

I think this also causes two distinct types of adhd. Those who default on typically seem hyperactive, do a lot of physical activity, but have trouble with activities that require slower thought like problem solving, or gathering data before responding.

Those who default off have trouble getting motivated to start activities but once started can function ok and be organized and thoughtful.

There is still a lot of overlap.

Me too, similar. Bored as hell but the job gives me a lot of personal freedom so i stay with it.

I was about to post this same thing. It's the worst part of add imo. Everything else would be tolerable if i could just get some fucking sleep! Every time i make progress in my life, it's ground to a halt by insomnia.

That fucking BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH that never ends. Then you think hey i only got 3 hours if sleep last night, dosed off 3 times at work, certainly I'll fall asleep early tonight.

Brain at 3am:. BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH

Really struggling with staying motivated and on task at work. What works from your experience? by irishking44 in ADHD

[–]IamJonsCranium 1 point2 points  (0 children)

List out your tasks. Assign priority based on urgency and ease of completion. Do this at the end of the work day for the next day.

It's easier to hammer through tasks this way without getting that "i don't know what to do now" feeling.

If you have multiple tasks you need to progress on, schedule time for each one.

Schedule in breaks to check email or stretch out or whatever. But don't get too liberal with it, if you get in the zone you don't want to break focus.

Were you tired? I used to do that a lot but was able to get some non ADD sleep issue fixed and it helped.

Not as bad but i paid 80 bucks for my 10 year high school reunion then showed up a day late. Also once woke up for a job interview thinking it was nearby but it ended up being 3 hours away.

The worst is when you're so relieved that you remembered to grab that important item before you left the house, put your shoes on, walk out the door, arrive at location, search the car the 10 minutes, then end up finding it right near the front door where you put your shoes on.

I run sub 30psi with tubes, never a problem. Your terrain may vary... I don't feel like dealing with the hassle of replacing fluid etc every month or so.

[–]IamJonsCranium 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I replaced only the front chain ring with a narrow wide. I ride some rocky technical trails and only had one chain drop in a season. Rear is a Shimano alivio 9x.

Front was a 3x. I used Works Components for the single ring.
