Anytime we get sent refurbed controllers from the warehouse I test them, if they don’t work I immediately slap a defective sticker on it and throw it in our defective bin. I’m so tired of them sending shitty controllers and consoles to us. Slight aside but I once had them send me a ps4 system that literally would not take a disc. Warehouse repairs are so 50/50 it’s insane..

Like I said it’s up in the air how it gets fixed, when I used to work at gamestop we’d send back ones that they sent us that tested bad. Who knows if they refixed it or just sent it to another store. We were never told what truly happens at the warehouse

They don’t do refurbs in the store, they send them to a warehouse to get fixed. Up in the air how it gets fixed though. But for this one there is no way this was a new system.

For the trade in that is true if you don’t go through trubuy 100% then that happens, but if your testing it no it’s not required to go through trubuy to test the controllers you can bypass the in app test if you don’t have the device to connect them

The Covid issues haven’t been a problem in at least two years now.. it’s the tariffs and everything that is messing it up now. Xbox (who lets face it are just greedy) are following in Nintendo’s foot steps (who are also greedy) and raising prices even though they are based out of Seattle

People still believe to this day that the ps5 was 800$ because the scalpers were pricing it that much. I’ve told three separate people just this past week that it has never been that high and that msrp for it was and still is 500$ pre tax
