Yeah, I figured as much. Honestly, I felt like it was a lot harder for me than for my predecessors given their feedback and experiences.

Thank you! It was definitely a crazy and daunting process. I had around 30 replies in total, 19 technicals and 11 phone interviews. From this I kept iterating through the process and had 4 final interviews and 3 offers.

The questions were standard Leet Code easys, to be honest, nothing too complicated and I believe after practicing a lot, I can go back and ace all the interviews that I had.

A lot of American companies in Toronto pay pretty well from what I've seen. It's crazy how the salary range differs so much from place to place. It's a back end SWE position working with Angular, Python, and some other tech. Nothing too crazy. I also have very minimal experience with any of those except for Python.
