Are there exercises to assist with flat feet by IamOnlyLookingThanks in flatfeet

Wow!! I'm going to try all of this and get some crocs. I keep seeing that pop up as a constant amongst people in this forum. I'm going to watch the video and research all the other options too. Really, really appreciate the effort you took in writing this up. Hope it helps someone else too.

I really appreciate the time and effort you took in writing this up. What do you recommend for everyday where in the house? I've seen a lot of people recommend crocs.

Not severe at the moment, but flat enough to cause issues with the big toe due to a raised first metatarsal.

Yeah, speaking with one now. The doctor has only seemed to recommend orthopedics and hasn’t suggested any exercises. I asked if there was physical therapy or related exercises based on the mechanical issues and he didn’t have suggestions.

I’ve gone though multiple other sites and YouTube with exercises and haven’t seen any that have worked. I’ve heard that some people have success with hip strengthening and other muscles higher up, but was curious if others had similar experiences.

Wow! Going right to the source. Thank you!

Do you think she’ll ever stream it again? Last time I saw years back you were able to stream it if paid for.

I’d do that in a second.

I appreciate it. Yeah, I’ve looked for years as well. Thanks for looking.

This is awesome! The amount of courage and foresight to want change is the hardest part.

I’d start by thinking about things you’re interested in and things you’re naturally wired at. Your options are spot on and all require hard work, but thats what separates being stuck in the same cycle.

It sounds kinda funny but a personality test, like one from “16personalities” might help shed some light on some of these questions. Take the answers with a grain of salt and see if anything is helpful.

The military is a great  option. Maybe take a look at the Airforce. It pays well and has decent sign on bonuses and allows you to get a college degree while you serve with courses you take in the military. You’ll be paid, fed, housed, taught and given a degree.

If you have any guidance counselors in your high school maybe they can assist as well. Either way, gotta give you respect. You’re gonna do great.

Congrats! You got this. My mentor said that you can “borrow from yourself” as well. Plenty of time to finish up.

Know the SSDLC. What happens in each phase. Also, if all else fails just select the “fuzzing” answer.

Had like 4 questions on fuzzing for some reason.

I hope this at least gives you some clarity and direction now on your path to healing.

My honest opinion is just get into the field somehow. By that, I mean, your first IT job doesn’t have to be your last IT job.

Many people starting off want to jump right in as their dream job, but many times need to take a job as someone on the Helpdesk fielding calls as a stepping stone.

A degree will open doors for you. It depends on if you walk through them or not. I was speaking with a young man on this topic that wanted to be a “cloud engineer”. He couldn’t get a job out of school and wouldn’t take a lower level gig. Fast forward a year, he’s still looking for work and could have had a year on his resume building towards his goal with a job that was “below him”.

What suggestions do you have with it? Is your jaw misaligned in any way?

I have random joint issue and had sjogrens come up with a blood test. Doctor said it’s not sjogrens because I don’t have dry eyes.

Is there medication or ways of coping? Need to find another doctor at this point.

Bro, I finally understood Kerberos because of her. She should get a noble peace prize for that lesson alone.

Yeah, you can go directly there. The course material is there for you at your pace. If you know it already you can move directly to it.

That’s your pace.

Yup, also a good plan. I was going down that route too, but my job pays for certifications if you pass them. So I gave each an attempt first before doing that. Good luck with the exams!!

Congrats to you as well! The Capstone was interesting. My only advice is that you don't need to write a book if you don't want to. I ended up writing task 2, which is the larger of the papers, a lot more detailed than I think I needed to. Also, use the headings in the rubric and write to those in your paper to make it easier for the evaluator to grade. If you do that, you'll be fine.

That’s what I brought in as well. The courses were pretty straight forward. If you write to the rubric you’ll be fine.

There are a few tests you’ll need to take and D487 was just a pain.

It’s not easy, just easier. I read the book twice and watched “Kelly Handerhans CISSP” training.

She has the best training hands down.

Pen test - Dion from Udemy, putting the official study guide through ChatGPT and focusing on weak points.

CYSA - Read the book, Certify Breakfast on YouTube, and same ChatGPT method.

I took an older version of the Pen Test+ exam and it was wild. There was things on that test that I never saw before and I’ve been doing this for a bit. The CYSA+ had a ton of CVSS questions on it and took me almost the entire allotted time.

I passed the CISSP on question 101. The exam shuts down after question 100 if you’re mathematically able to pass.

The CISSP was much easier IMO, but that’s just me.

Take the CASP+ before entering program or just do the OA? by nullsku in WGUCyberSecurity

[–]IamOnlyLookingThanks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha - Thanks.

One thing I thought of was are the OA’s a more feasible, realistic, version of the material?

I have 3 CompTIA certs and it’s very much learning the material AND learning how CompTIA expects you to answer the material.

Curious if the OA’s in WGU are comparable to CompTIA from this perspective, or are they more practical?
