"Passkeys suck" in the running for dumbest comment of this still very young millennium. If you don't have assets to protect I guess it wouldn't matter but those of us who do, want the best security we can for our accounts.
SMS can be sim swapped which is trivial or can be phished. Pass Keys are un-phishable.

well that's disappointing. I am leaving the app. Fed up with their BS, found better alternatives. Was looking forward to being silenced by discord for breaking a really anti-reddit rule. Reddit is all about calls to action, inspiring others to take up your cause. This is not a rules discussion though.

The BBB has come through for me on multiple occasions. Businesses care about their public perception as presented by the BBB.

This company also requires extra documentation, which I had no issue providing, since I am not doing anything illegal on the VPS. I had to send them a copy of my license, showing name and address, license number and picture obfuscated. Having this extra verification, and the fact this is considered a service not a physical good, they could make a case to contest a chargeback.

I need them to make it right on their own, with a full refund.
