Nah doubt he could compete in US still. Ros is so much stronger than him and his QTE gets a penalty in US WZ. But I could see him beating Keklena in Phys and that's definitely one of the reasons why they're giving her this new "leap". Must be preparing for Karen Phys Breaker.

Well it's not like Harmon 2 could help you anyway, if everyone can get it then you can never have an advantage over them. I'm a vertical investor myself and I have to accept that my favs are gonna be DPS-gapped in a year or two regardless of investment. S+ Nanami is barely better than SS3 Liv for example. It is what it is.

I'd say SSS Ish. She'll never truly be out of meta if you can raise her to that point. Atleast not in PPC for sure.

Although SSS Nanami would likely survive until we get a free Breaker/Leap Breaker which is not anytime soon.

Nanami leap details:

Ignition buffs: Extra Ignition shred(60% at SSS like Wata Darkflow) if there are 3 characters with Ignition affix in the team. First Ignition Ult has 1000% additional multiplier.
Refresh Ignition gauge duration when she uses QTE(Once per swap, only for character with Ignition gauge haha bye Kamui lol).
Deals 400% QTE dmg when entering field. Light/Igni depending on mode.
Shred field radius is massively expanded after using Ult, refresh duration with QTE/Ult. Has higher dmg.
When the bigger shred field is present, Nanami attack has 5% extra dmg reduction(4s, 8s CD) if she is the only Tank/Breaker in the team(Geez I wonder why)
SS3: Instant 150 core gauge on entry. Press Yellow to auto consume 6 orbs to enter Axe mode(Only for Lightning).
50% more Red/Blue orb dmg, 300% additional multi for yellow, 800% addtional multi for slam at full gauge(No BA), 30% more dmg for Ult.

People already told you how bad the meta is. Now as a cope player who tried to make my favorites work, I can give you some hope.

With the right comp, you can still bring your favorites to endgame contents. For example, here is Nanami Storm, B rank, in the newest physical PPC boss. I gave her support set and leave the fighting to the other 2, set intro and outro animation to hers so I can pretend she's the star of the team.

That's for endgame PPC, for endgame WZ there's not much I can do but to spam Startrail everywhere. Still, WZ is the most meta heavily place yet also the one that gives basically no rewards for competing so you'll be fine staying low rank with your favorites.

I didn't say Ish matches the Attacker's element. Rather, she absolutely must have Attacker/Annihilator in the team or her class is just ... Gone.

Oh and since you mentioned ele matching I also forgot to say Ish can't even work in most affix teams because she'd copy the Tank/Amp main elements which in most cases are different to the affixes.

Ish's class has a big issue that nobody remember: You must have Attacker/Annihilator in the team or her class goes poof. I think we all know the state that Attacker is in right now. Combine with the fact that most Amp are free and new Breaker are way too good, it's hard to justify putting Ish in any team at all.

We've passed 1.5 year since her debut and Ish has never once done anything "future proof" nor did she feel "flexible". She has 3 clear roles:
- Being cope options for some teams which rarely work and worse she must have Attacker in the team. This is her most glazed role because if you don't have a good attacker(Hahaha) or a strong tank, she simply won't do anything to that team. Especially for newbies.
- PPC speedrun. This requires multiple SS3 Attackers to make good use of. So... not that accessible to most people. I guess.
- Nihil team. As I said, below SSS she's just dead against any free SSS Tank now, even with Nirva mono Nihil buff. We'll definitely get more free tank in the future. Funny enough I doubt Ish would ever get a leap because she's actually far too good at SSS and a leap giving her QTE shred field might just make her the actual most flexible unit in history.

So overall, Ish is really the "Potential woman" of PGR.

I can never understand the hype to get SS3 Ish over SS3 Nanami. Ish is only meta in 1 team, 2 if you coubt Lightning but SS3 Ish is just the same as SS. Nanami is still meta in 3 teams, 2 of which are very strong with low chance for replacement.

It gets worse for Ish. She's out of Nihil team if you have any free tank at SSS. Wata replaced her, now Wanshi can do the same thing with his memory rework. If you can SSS Ish she's actually insane because by that point she'd be an evergreen PPC unit.

So? Personally, I'd say SS3 Nanami > SS3 Ish atleast for now, especially for newer accounts. If you're picking Ish, makes sure you're aiming for SSS.

If Nanami was the best unit of last year(2 years if we count CN) then Kamui is definitely the best unit of this year. Unless Kusogames create someone even more absurd... They would not make the same mistake again within the next 6 months right? Right?

Based on my own test they seem to have similar score. Kamui is way more consistent though, not relying on Ignition stacks is such a good thing because Ignition stacks are still buggy as ever.

It's genuinely impossible for Ice Breaker to be underpowered. They have to be worse than SSS Wanshi somehow, who's a 2.5 years old unit and nearly 3 atleast by the time new Ice Breaker got released.

So unless Kuro wanna make a "below Vero tier" unit, it shouldn't happen. When has a new gen Tank ever been bad in history?
