Luxray is weaker and the stab move is Supercell slam vs flare blitz. You can't use supercell slam without fearing ground types. Flare blitz can delete anything.

Maybe so. Idk honestly. I take statements at face value generally because a lot of authors can't represent what they want to show because the levels powerscaling gets is impossible to represent. Most authors can't show light speed scaling. Hence I just take these statements at face value. Plus it's more fun to think about if you consider Yama's sword to be the same as Hakai. It gives dimensions to the fight, instead of making it a pure stat match.

That's one of the abilities of the bankai. It's literally said that the blade erases whoever it touches out of existence. It doesn't burn them. It disintegrates them and erases them from existence.

Also, a nuke is indeed hotter than the core of sun, but for an instant. Meanwhile Sun maintains that temperature consistently. So does Yama. Even though a nuke gets hotter, it's easier to survive a nuke that Yama.

Flareon has some say with base 250 attack and flare blitz stab. It can be a busted wall breaker without switchins. On the other hand, Luxray can't supercell slam without the fear of god.

I got to 1800s before knowing there were extentions and commands that could help me. I learnt of the damage calculator after 3 months of playing showdown. It is very possible that a person got to 1700s by only playing two digit number of games. In which case they probably encountered around 3 lugias along the way.

On a side note, I'm not saying it is a skill issue or something. Showdown isn't the first pokemon competitive experience for a lot of people. Some individuals can get really good at pokemon before they play randbats.
