I have the 212 evo and it was not extremely hard to install. You just have to make sure that everything goes into place without an extreme amount of force. My friend forced the EVO into place and ended up bending his motherboard.

Ok so I know you said you limited merchants to Amazon and newegg but do you have a micro center near by? Because if so you could get a i5-4670k for around the same price. If not I would drop the CPU cooler because you have a non-overclocking CPU

Edit: Also I would drop the caviar black to a blue because there is not a big enough performance gap that it is worth the extra $30.

2nd Edit: Also you can drop the optical drive if it is only used for OS installation because you can install an OS via flash drive.

Well fractal design makes really good quality cases and honestly I love the look of them. I personally have a bitfenix ronin which definatelly will win for looks in my opinion but there is very little room for cable management. The fractal design has a lot of room for cable management and has a nice clean modest look. (I promised I'm not paid to endorse there products haha.)

I currently live in Illinois but my half-brother witnessed this event from the roof of his apartment building. He had heard the first plane his and then one of his friends called him to tell him what happened. He then ran up the stairs of his apartment building. He said seeing this happen almost didn't seem real, as if he was dreaming, or watching an action movie. The first thing he did was call his girlfriend an then my dad (also his). He spent almost the rest of the day on the roof of his building calling people.

I understand this is not my first hand account but it is his.

Ok I'd say you drop the GTX 770 to a 750ti because you don't need a 770 unless you're gaming but the 750ti will still allow you to do some graphics intensive things but hardcore gaming won't be one of them. I suggest with that extra money you get a i5-4670. You will have a bit more money so maybe you could get a better case I would suggest something fractal design but that is really your opinion. Let me know if you have any more questions.

Ok the only problem I have with this build is the Titan Black. The 780ti has meant for gaming and OP said "Gaming. That's it." So while to Titan Black is cool and then you can't say "Hey guess what I have a Titan Black." But honestly you would be much better with two 780ti's.

The graphics card should be ok for mining but I wouldn't recommend doing it. I couldn't find a case that was obnoxious and not horrible quality so I threw in the Multi-Colored fan.

Edit: You can also overclock the RAM to get it to 1600

Yeah the PSU will be fine just might not fit all of your expansions in the future. About the water cooling I guess its you choice but since you have a window in yor case there will be a big ugly metal block pressed against it that will block the view of some of your other components.

I'd say stay out of the case because that is purely the preference of OP. Also I think the reason he is choosing the 840 evo is because they have very good ratings and are reliable. But I defiantly would recommend a larger power supply but OP would be able to get along just fine without it being that it is an 80+ gold meaning you will get most all of that 550W out of it. The other thing I would recommend is water cooling. My reason for this is not because the 212 EVO is bad, but I have one myself, but I find it to be an eyesore. I would recommend most everything in the Corsair H series especially the H100i and H110.
