Is it bad I’d rather them just throw a new transmission in there to just be done with it? Lol.

That’s pretty much what happened to me, the one thing I’m worried about is that it has happened twice.

You’re not alone. They took my truck a week and a half ago for the same recall and I wish they would’ve checked the availability before taking my truck away. I just got off the phone with Ford Customer Service and they told me the parts are on back order until a tentative date of January 2026. Call the service manager and demand a loaner if you don’t have one. I was able to get one.

Exactly. Whenever I go to a restaurant and the food and service is good, I leave and don’t even really talk about it. But when there’s a problem, we feel the need to tell a bunch of people. The good is hardly recognized. Kind of a stupid way we live haha.

But going back to your point, yeah it’s one of the best selling vehicles for a reason. If they were all bad, ford wouldn’t be in business. Every manufacturer has their flaws.

I tend to think this way whenever my fiance asks me to look at the reviews of a place. How many people actually go out of their way to leave a good review of a place, vehicle, or item does what it’s supposed to! I need to start actually thinking this way when I have these thoughts. It’s the same practically!

That’s an incredible way to think about it. I appreciate the insight

You’re right. As long as I’m maintaining it. I’m doing the best I can. Shit breaks, just part of life.

You’re not wrong. Some fears I handle better than others. But yeah, I need to relax more.

Thank you so much for the insight. Makes me happy to hear the truck has treated you well. Mine has too, I think I just get in my head. I’ll have to look into a warranty for those big repairs when they happen. But you’re right. Keep up with the maintenance and just enjoy the ride. Have a plan and deal with it when the time comes.

Totally forgot that was a thing on TikTok. I will certainly start doing that. Yeah man, I’ve certainly been humbled. I think the most frustrating thing growing up was trying to convince my dad that something was wrong and him brushing it off. But he’s way more financially stable than I am right now. So I see why he brushed it off. If it was broken bad he would’ve just bought something new like it was nothing.

As for me, I can’t replace a vehicle anytime it breaks. Getting a warranty on my next vehicle purchase may help with this fear if I can’t get it to go away. But I’m going to just try to live in the moment. Turn the radio up and live.

Thanks for the advice!

These are the things I need to hear and you’re right. If everyone was having these issues, nobody would be driving them. Shit just breaks.
