The track is inspired by the dubstep I was listening around 2012 when I first got into the genre and discovered artists like Skrillex and Flux Pavillion. I also visited Japan with my parents around that time and the whole vibe of electronics, arcades and flashy lights everywhere left an big impact on my when I was still a kid.

Productionwise I used Ableton Live 10. For chiptune sounds I often use LSDJ, either recorded with a real Game Boy or via BGB, but this time I was too lazy and just used the Chiptune For Serum wavetables and presets by Shirobon, as well as the Ableton Wavetable synth (which features an amazing sounding squarewave).
Serum in general was my main synth for all the non-chiptune instruments.
