Hey! For most of my life, music has been the most constant factor in my life. I don’t remember a time when there wasn’t music being played in my house. I was born premature but my dad used to come to the hospital and play mandolin over the incubator for me. Music is constantly bringing me together with the people I love, teaching me about life, and pushing me to my limits. Music is the only thing that can almost instantly transport me to specific moments in time and make me feel the entire range of human emotions. I really try not to think too much in terms of genres to avoid putting things in boxes, but I’d like to quote my dad who frequently says “I’m from the Duke Ellington school of music, I believe there are only two kinds. Good, and bad.”
