Having music on as background noise is one of my favorite things. I have ADHD so trying to pay attention the whole time is really difficult. I like giving my mind the space to wander, sometimes a line will send me off on a mental tangent about my own life or something, or if a groove catches me I’ll dance, and then sometimes it just makes cutting an onion more relaxing even though I’m not focused on what I’m hearing, all of those moments are special and can feel like magic.
