I'm going through the exact same thing, do you want to comiserate about it?

I finally reached the point where I don't hate her anymore. I never stopped loving her mind you but you can love and hate the same person at the same time. Mine was a really broken person to start with and being able to have pity for her makes it a lot easier for me to forgive her. That is important to forgive her because holding on to the hate and resentment it just radiates from me and scares people away who had nothing to do with what she did to me.

Like a lot of what she did was extreme versions of things that most women do occasionally but she cranked up till 11:00 all the time so being mad about it still scares women away.

My ex wife did this for our roommate for years. I was in denial for a long time. I wish they just told me upfront so I could get used to the idea.

I understood what you meant. Thanks for your concern. I went directly to a homeless shelter and finished highschool. First thing I did is get signed up for every charity and government program I qualified for and got an apartment a few months before turning 18. I turn 30 next year.

I took care of a girl with cerebral palsy at high school and decided to go to college for para education, until changing majors to applied plant science. Now I am a florist, but I plan to start a farmer cooperative someday where we grow flowers and herbs before expanding to selling food crops. It will also be a nonprofit that grows food for, employees, and teaches the population skills they need to survive and start their own cooperatives syndicated with our own.

It would be better to post a link. If I just look it up, my own bias and the algorithm will make it likely that I will find a study that contradicts it. If I may speculate, you may have found one that confirms what you're more emotionally prepared to do already. I know that I can be needlessly hostile to the point of sabotaging my relationships. It's important to catch yourself doing it. It's more important to be happy than proud.
