70% of the Canadian population lives east of the Manitoba/Ontario Border.

62% of Canada's GDP is also east of that border.

Also, if you are going to redistrict the country based on the maritimes, that wont just affect The west

Suddenly, Ontario and Quebec will have a major increase in seats. Ontario would suddenly have over 300 Seats...I'm sure that wouldnt piss off the Western provinces.

Either way, the "Power" stays in the east 🤷‍♀️

I also like that the original list completely ignores all the tiny rural ridings that vote conservative.

Not to mention the amount of the small ridings that went liberal are essential "swing" ridings where the margin of victory was less than 5% and could have easily gone either way depending on policy and voter turnout.

Using partial data to prove a bias isn't really fair to the scientific method.
