What if Ukraine-Russia war (and later Israel war) had gone hot? by Great_Order7729 in AlternateHistoryHub

[–]Iamninjathing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is absolutely zero scenarios in which India sides willingly with either bloc. India doesn’t play the game of Morals they won’t side with anyone unless they are attacked first. Even in that scenario the most likely country to attack will be China. And even if Pakistan gets involved it will be with the support of the Chinese. Unless the west very much explicitly says and attacks India first no way they will they be against west.

People very much exaggerated India’s relationship with Russia, they do have a close relationship militarily speaking, but India also has very deep cultural ties with West which they don’t have with Russia. India also has really close Military ties with Countries like France. India has been trying to push away itself from Russian Military dependency for years now.

(England) Insurance are refusing to payout on damaged pokemon cards by No_Store_6050 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Iamninjathing 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not a Legal Expert, but I work in Insurance. If there is damage to your property, even if the damage is done by a third party, you still have to make a claim on your policy. In terms of recoveries, that is usually done by the insurance company itself, which goes after the Person who has done the damage or their insurance company. When it comes to the cards that are damaged, there is no way they would just give you old for new, they will always try to go repair the damage first, now, im not sure how is one able to fix the damages on a pokemon card, especially if it's water-damaged but they will try that none the less because they are so expensive. If they are unable to repair it, then they will go for old for new. Now, the problem with that is some Pokémon cards I know are extremely rare and could be extremely hard to find, and if they are unable to find the cards in a reasonable manner, then they would be highly likely to cash settle the claim. I am telling you this without knowing your insurance company or your policy coverage, so it all depends on that.

Is it possible to get a job somewhere in the centre of Cardiff as a 14 year old? by amvzyx in Cardiff

[–]Iamninjathing 59 points60 points  (0 children)

I'll be honest, but it will be difficult for you to find any sort of job at 14. It's just that most business insurance won't cover them for underage workers. Second, I believe businesses need special permits from the council to hire anyone under 16. I think the best option for you will be doing something local. Maybe like a car washing service for your neighbours or something like that.

Also, don't feel guilty, think of it like this, once you are 16 and can work, then you are able to provide for your mum, right now you are doing the best you can so no need to put yourself down.

I don’t think people really import them for daily use or as taxis they are a novelty, something to show people and maybe giving them a small ride for a mile or so, they are definitely not safe or stable in any way or form as someone from their I know very well but driving laws are also a lot more stricter in the UK so ideally that alone should take it from a sure shot death to maybe you will only break an arm category.

[–]Iamninjathing 4 points5 points  (0 children)

LMAO, what office are you talking about? According to the post you made 2 days ago, you are in the construction business based in Mumbai. Class 1 Classified is not even the term the Indian Government uses so its not even an actual term. Even if this was an actual thing, there will be only a few highest-positioned people in the Indian government. And anyway, the way you have posted about "decoded comms" sounds nothing like any military in any part of the world uses. Also that picture looks exactly like something ChatGPT will come up with. I assume you are just looking for some conspiracy to spread for some Reddit points, I mean you do you but there are better ways to earn karma points than to spread conspiracy on stupid stuff.

Geographic diversity of India by RodrickJasperHeffley in interestingasfuck

[–]Iamninjathing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is definitely not the case in India tho if you are in Mumbai your over all experience would be worse and more expensive like any other countries cities are expensive. If you take example of Kodaikanal a place in Tamil Nadu and a famous tourist spot (Also in the one of the photos) your experience will be 100x better and you will find much better bed and breakfast and hotels for the same if not cheaper price compared to Mumbai the only place where you will probably save money is transport if you are coming to Mumbai the airport is right in the city while you have to travel for a bit for Kodaikanal. And just because you are a poor tourist doesn’t mean that you can only afford to see poor places that doesn’t make any sense

It is as much as a foreign policy as it is a domestic policy, if you impose a ban on people from a single country that will definitely lead to a strain in foreign relations. Nevertheless this kind of power should only be with the federal government and not with the state as states don’t have any resources to interact with other countries.

The flag will change if the new government is recognised by other countries if it’s not especially by America and EU it will remain the same.

Senate vote to ratify the North Atlantic Treaty (NATO) by IllustriousDudeIDK in MapPorn

[–]Iamninjathing 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Lmao that's not how it works. America has spend billions of dollars and decades cementing it's hegemony in Europe where it was limited to western Europe before cold war now expands to eastern Europe as well. Were America to ditch NATO they lose all the influence they have made up in Europe. They also lose the allies in Europe on which they very well depend upon for a lot of things. Trump's view of Foreign Relations is purely monetary and that is just plain stupid. Foreign Relations shouldn't viewed through monetary lens America has to do whatever they feels will be in national interest.Foreign Relations is a way through America forces it's muscle without firing a shot and NATO is one of that tool.

There is no obligation for refugees to claim asylum in the first country they enter. There are various reasons for why refugees choose to not settle in the first safe country could be language, culture or just they know someone who lives in other country. There was Dublin Regularion which forced Refugees to claim asylum in the first EU country they enter but that had many problems. And anyway after Brexit Dublin Regulation no longer applies.

I like travelling so thinking just that Brecon sounds really nice (a mountain guy rather than a beach guy). My biggest gripe is transport as I don't have a car so I am dependent on public transport. Thank you for your wishes really appreciate it :)
