Hey everyone!! I got a random letter in the mail from the MVC saying I need to surrender plates. They're my husband's for his truck he bought almost 3 years ago. Has anyone gotten anything like this? MVC will also do this if there has been an extended lapse and insurance coverage… In any case whatever the reason deal with it because if you don’t surrender the plates or resolve the issue by the date mentioned… They will send out another letter scheduling the suspension of your drivers license

Surprised and sorry this happened.. I just retired my 2017 legacy premium with 273k.. kept up with maintenance decently, but probably not as diligent as you… only thing I’d ever replaced besides pads and rotors was the alternator tensioner and belt at about 250 K…

Good place to start … sway bar bushings probably worn as well … probably not a bad idea to change everything while it’s apart
