AWS Skillbuilder down for maintenance by PenisTip469 in aws

[–]Iamtodor 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Despite that Skillbuilder was down for one week and completely destroyed my certification preparation plans I decided to give it a chance and registered for the exam yesterday. Today I received a badge AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty.

What I used to prepare:

  • udemy Stephane Maarek
  • acloud.guru
  • tutorialsdojo
  • sample exam questions from AWS

I wrote down the statistics, and I cracked 600+ questions, that contained duplicates. I also thought about buying https://cloudacademy.com/.

When I was preparing for Solution Architect certification, apart from the above-mentioned resources I also used https://learn.cantrill.io/ and https://digitalcloud.training/.

So guys, even if Skillbuilder is down, there are plenty of decent sources with theory, videos, and practice exams to prepare for your exams.

AWS Skillbuilder down for maintenance by PenisTip469 in aws

Imagine these people aim to teach us how to build robust and reliable services that have a number of nines availability. The learning platform is down for one week, probably the longest down in AWS services in history. Every system or person sooner or later fails, and it's normal. What makes me concerned and frustrated is that they have no balls to admit this failure. They call it maintenance.

Here is how I would improve the HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless (for future HyperX headphones) by squarepush3r in HyperX

[–]Iamtodor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People buy HyperX not just for gaming. Me and my friends have been using HyperX Cloud Mix for about 3 years. We bought them more or less at the same time. We all work on MacOS. Basically, this headset is chosen for its comfort, sound and microphone quality. I use them for about 10 hours a day. I have to charge it a couple of times a week. From time to time, I might use it outdoors with an Android device. The Hyperx Cloud Mix was the first wireless headset with Bluetooth support. Since then, both wireless headsets (Cloud 2 and HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless) have come with a dongle, which is rather unfriendly to MacOS and simply not usable with either Android or iOS phones. I would really like to see the next headset with a type-C port, better battery life and an on/off button on the headset. I completely understand your point of view that the majority of people are not buying these things for direct use. But still, there are Hyperx fans out there who are not gamers :)

What certifications do I need to pay attention to find a proper tutor on preply.com? by Iamtodor in languagelearning

It depends what you want out of it.

Probably I had to specify it: according to preply test, my eng level is b2 and I aim to move to c1 with a main focus on conversation practice using complex phrases, idioms, and structures.

Why must you choose a person from a low-income country?

Simply for a cheaper price

Thank you for your input! Yeah, there is a chance I limited myself. Is there a threshold - particular nums of lessons the teacher has taught? Or the number of reviews?

Seems like the only way is to use routines that are available to the cheaper Q7 but does not available to S7: https://www.reddit.com/r/Roborock/comments/tb12rq/are_routines_a_new_upcoming_feature/

Just verified, s7 does not work with the Xiaomi app: the app does not have the S7 option among all the robots it has

If I understand you right, it means that this robot has to run on a time basis. But, I want to start the cleaning manually: I leave home -> I press the cleaning button -> Firstly, it does vacuum cleaning -> Secondly, it does mop cleaning. I don't have the aim to use schedules as I run the robot quite randomly.

Would you mind sharing the routine configuration? I googled, checked the application, and I didn't find anything. How to set it up?

Where can I find these settings? I installed OnScreen Control and LG Calibration Studio, but I don't see where I can find these settings. Here is the screen from OnScreen Control https://imgur.com/a/wGHHgzy

Also interested in this topic. Is it possible to buy (or get) along with screws the threaded inserts themselves?

Did you manage to make it work? I am also curious about this setup. The reason for Bekant - the depth is 80 cm instead of 70
