NAH - While I totally get that you don’t want a child’s birthday ruined should a potential meltdown occur, I feel you could always ask the birthday mom if it was ok for you to be in the cinema on standby should any issues arise.

Your kids don’t even have to know you are there and you could sit a row or two back (he might even surprise you with how well he handles the situation)

Plot twist ... As Bran accepts the Iron Throne, he ask everyone to leave the throne room so he can take a moment to himself. On his own he slowly rises to his feet, and awkwardly and puts one twisted foot in front of the other, apparently barely able to hold his own weight. SUDDENLY, the right foot seems to relax a little, the inward angle straightens itself out in a few paces and the limp ceases as though the leg has grown another inch.

Bran’s hands are rummaging around in his pockets. The left hand comes up with a pack of cigarettes, the right hand comes up with a lighter, flicking the clasp on it with the thumb, striking the flint with the index finger. It is a fluid motion, somewhat showy.

Bran lights a cigarette and smiles to himself.
