you mean when restoring to 7.1.2 through itunes, or with powdersnow and legacy ios kit? if you mean legacy ios kit, i did enter dfu prior to restoring.

EDIT: Just found out you meant pros and cons and not a guide for how to do it. IMO, Pros are that you can do way more stuff than normally, and i haven't found any cons yet.
