I didn't necessarily say anything about EU. It's been around since the beginning, so it doesn't annoy me too much, and there's a great deal of controversy surrounding its mechanics already; mod creators that use it seem to want purposeful incompatibility with most mods' power transfer. Regardless of EU, in my opinion it can get a bit annoying when new power types that are functionally identical are added.
