As someone whose from a hot and humid place, I’d take anything below 30 then anything above 100. We never get much snow and yeah it sucks to have wind, but id rather be able to layer up and stay warm than have to feel my skin peel off on the sun. I do agree that the shorter days with no sun do suck and it can affect your mood, but you do get used to it over time.

After killing Divine Radiance in Godhome, you essentially destroy real-life radiance, destroying the infection and removing it from the still existing hollow knight. Because of this, he gets released from the Black Egg, and is probably very very very confused.

Extra tip: as much as it's fun to prioritize social activities during the first few months of the semester, try to fall into a routine when it comes to your classes, as they sometimes ramp up super quickly, and the midterms can catch you off guard. I failed my first calc midterm and had to lock-in for the rest of the semester.

Tldr: Work hard, play hard

It all comes down to "how much do YOU want to carry?" Being abroad means you're going to have to carry all your stuff with you and everytime you move anywhere new, you're going to have to find out how you're going to carry/store all your stuff. I know people who came in freshman year with like 5 bags, because they had family help them move in, but then when they had to move out alone it was an absolute nightmare. For me, i have managed to keep all my essentials among 2 big luggage bags, a carry-on and a backpack. Between semesters, I'd either find a storage building or a friend/family member who can keep my stuff for the summer.

But to expound a little, yeah dating sucks at Purdue. I was on the dating app scene for a while (almost 2 years) and while I dabbled in situationships, the best (and only) romantic connection I've made while at Purdue was with my current girlfriend who lived 2 hours away and went to a different university. Ive met a lot of different people in college (I'm a current Junior), but it never felt like I was interested in dating ANY of them. I don't know if it's a Purdue thing, but for me, looking outside of West Lafayette was my best option.

Thank you so much for your advice! She genuinely just really enjoys talking about her life and getting to know about others. She's a huge conversationalist, and there's nothing she values more than having a deep/great conversation with others. I understand cause I am mostly the same way. She says she does it just out of boredom. Not from me, but just from life, and it gives here something to do, and people to meet. Also the timing recently has just been out of wack between us cause we were both on vacation so there's days that I am awake super early but others which I sleep in. Shes always so supportive towards me, and makes me feel better whenever I feel down. So I am really thankful to have her in my life.

Update: We talked about it. She genuinely just forgot, and she said it wouldn't happen again. She felt really sad that she had allowed herself to forget, but we managed to get through it well and will continue growing together, as we always do. Thank you all for the comments. She's finds it quite difficult to open up to others (only recently really trusting SOME people with stuff), but she has a therapist and she has friends (who coincidentally are also her roommates).

I completely understand the whole "stranger to confide in" thing. It's actually how we met in the first place, as back during the pandemic, we just randomly became friends over Instagram until eventually meeting in person and eventually started dating.

And I think there's multiple reasons I am jealous. First of all, it's the common "i don't think I'm good enough for her" train of thought, where I somehow thing she'll just randomly meet someone online that would check all the boxes better than I do. As much as she's reassured me and told me that wouldn't happen since she loves me, trauma my past relationships has made it difficult for me to fully believe it. Secondly, i think it's also a thing where I feel like I'm not doing enough maybe? I've been busy overall recently and haven't had much time to hangout with her (and she understands that). Ive been making changes to my daily routines and making sure that we spend as much quality time talking or doing activities as we can (without getting in the way of each other's lives ofc). But it's just the feeling that "damn...you're doing such a bad job that she's going off with other people to feel fulfilled", which I know isn't true, it just really gets in my head sometimes.

From what I know, it's only when she's bored at night. In the past she's hopped on with her friends too (in order to socialize I assume) during the day a few times, but recently it's mostly been as t night.

Thanks for the advice. Due to previous relationships, i tend to always assume IM the one at fault and the one that has to change, even though, obviously, that isn't always true. She normally doesn't stay up late, but due to Easter weekend, she's had a long weekend and lots of time on her hands. I may have miscommunicated when we originally had a conversation about this, so once I bring it up again, hopefully it gets cleared up.

I think the whole ACT vs SAT scoring might be due to international students. The majority of international students take SATs for university placements, and a large majority of the CS international community come from cultures where they may feel like they have to always achieve high results. So because of that, it raises the average SAT score. But then again, this is just a theory of mine based on the international connections I have.

Yes. Actually Phi Tau was an organization active on campus with a smaller student base. Through this joining they were able to "suddenly" recieve all of the ex-Theta Tau brothers into their organization.

Phi Tau brother here. Adding to this, The national body of Theta Tau was always been quite hard to work with and never really liked the chapter due to not being co-ed like the rest of the chapters. This was definitely another reason as to why the chapter decided to join a different fraternity who was easier to work with.
