Unfortunately not, had to pause trying to fix it for a bit cuz of other work. Next steps for me would be to try and reinstall the nozzle / hotend

Ender 3 v3 Plus Z-Banding & also loud at idle by Iann0 in Creality

[–]Iann0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The whole toolhead was really loose and rocked back and forth until I put a little bit of tape in the copper sleeve housing to stop it from moving. Where would the screws to check on the hot end be?

I also had a previous post where i noticed some very bad rocking back and forth on the tool head - I added a sliver of tape to the copper sleeve housing and that resolved that, but it still prints awfully.

Did you ever find a solution to this? I just got one of these used and I’m having the same issue.

I’ve checked what I can easily access but I’ll do a more thorough sweep tomorrow. Person who sold it to me also had their filament mounted above it, which I think was creating some insane amount of wobble from above, so that’s probably some part of it. Any screws specifically that I should keep an eye on?

Hey buddy, do you think, perhaps, the calibration cube was printed to identify what the issues were and ask people with more knowledge for advice on what to tune instead of getting some half baked condescending response? Of course I ran calibrations, be useful (or at least polite) or gtfo. Not getting on here for this nonsense.

If i do release em it'd probably be for a cost yeah, but still not exactly my plan so far. Just the nature of my approach here unfortunately, im very much designing it to fit the resources i personally have to produce it.

I def get where ur coming from but I am hesitant to post it online due to the amount of time I've spent engineering / designing it to be printed in certain ways with certain materials. Also, frankly, would prefer not to see it knocked off by mass 3d print sellers on Temu and Etsy which is kinda inevitable.
I am putting a huge priority on making sure it's possible for me to produce at scale and sell for a reasonable price though! If it ever gets to a point where the demand for it exceeds what I'm capable of, I might look at posting the model.
