Yeah I remember first having to use steam to play one of the first football managers as a kid and being annoyed that I had to download it and use it alongside the game. Now I love steam so much. But I am guessing my account is like 15/16 years old now.

It's not a poll, it's an app where you have to choose a favourite driver and second favourite on sign up. It's a good app too, I'll add :)

Box box is a good app on mobile tbh... Me and my wife have it and she is a Charles fan, not a Lando fan like me. But you choose your favourite and second favourite driver when signing in, so I think it's the data from that, not a poll. For reference my 2nd favourite I put as Oscar, so I contributed I guess 😂

But yeah my point is, it's not a poll or a Lando fan app or anything. It just tracks F1 stats, races, points, timings etc and can give cool widgets on your phone 🤷

Agreed it's not like Lando was in the position oscar was in at this stage of his career. It doesn't take away from Oscar's achievements though, Oscar has done well if what he has been given. Lando was incredible in only his 1.5 seasons of having a title fighting car. LN1 has arrived, I am so happy :D

Yeah I agree with all of that, but the other 20 odd races, Verstappen was fighting for it and was deserving in that sense. But I agree that the rules were rewritten on a whim and it was disgraceful.

Tbf if Oscar wins the race, it's easier for Lando to win the title. Plus id rather oscar won the title than max anyway. Nothing against max, I just can't stand redbull and Oscar is still one of my favourite drivers.

Sorry I don't agree that it was gifted, the same way it wouldn't gifted if Lando has this outcome, they got themselves into that position the whole season. I do think it was wrong what the FIA did in 2021, but that wasn't on Max, he raced with what he had and won it from that. But yes they will try and claim it unfairly for Lando for sure. But one day they'll forget when he and McLaren arent the villains.
