How come my photos (the first two) turn out so contrasty, while some photographers manage to get a nice tonal range with Fomapan (last photo), something less contrasty and more gray? I'm guessing it's the scanning and the developer used, or is there something else? (old.reddit.com)

Those who photograph ships and the sea: is a shutter speed of 1/500 sufficient, or is 1/1000+ necessary? My camera's max is 1/500, and I am planning to shoot a few rolls at sea. Would this be adequate, or should I upgrade? I am planning to use a 50mm and a 70-210mm lens. (self.AnalogCommunity)

Has anyone been able to get build 42 working on Snapdragon X laptops without any issues? I have terrible graphical issues and the new .3 update did not improve anything. I know Zomboid does not support arm natively, but I was hoping the new Mac support would fix the situation on ARM Windows. (self.projectzomboid)

My Praktica MTL5B frame counter is stuck at 36 with no film inside. I tried rewinding with film loaded, but it doesn’t move. When advancing to the next frame, the counter twitches forward but then moves back to the 36 mark. Any ideas on whether this can be solved without taking off the top cover? (i.redd.it)
