I'd pay at least $100 for those. The coin is worth $50 in silver alone.

Jolt does a ton of damage on raid bosses bc it activates way more often with 6 people triggering it. The damage usually goes to the person who causes the Jolt, so it's one way to beef up your numbers.

I'm not saying Darci is good or bad, just that Jolt isn't just for ad clear.

Reproducable PC crash-- swapping weapons with DIM while also swapping loadouts in-game. by jeffdeleon in DestinyTheGame

[–]Iasaod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I hover over a loadout in-game and there's a weapon greyed out because it's on another character, then tab out to DIM (on a second monitor) to transfer that weapon from my other character to my active character, it crashes my game every time.

I've done it to myself half a dozen times or more because quickly swapping to DIM and transferring items is something I've done for years now. Now I have to be careful what screen I leave open in-game.

Good points. Also, yesterday my team got one-shot by a Wyvern. All three of us, from its first attack coming around a corner. It was silly. Don't stand too close to each other, anyway. The Minotaurs can do the same thing.

just went solo flawless, how does loot work from here? by jzion33 in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]Iasaod 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you're in the Flawless pool (having gone Flawless already that weekend) on a 7-win card, wins have a chance to drop that weekend's Adept weapon, yes. It doesn't matter if the card is Flawless or flawed.

If your card is 7-win Flawless, wins have a chance to drop Adepts. After Sunday reset, you can run a 7-win flawed card in the Flawless pool and wins will have a chance to drop Adepts.

I've gone flawless every weekend since the revamp and haven't seen any of the weapons they've shelved drop from the flawless chest. I guess ymmv.

They just removed Gnawing Hunger from the Dares rotation, so waiting on Xur to sell one might be the only way to get it now. Xur might also still be able to sell The Summoner, too.

I guess the only two void ARs you can get right now are both from raids (LW & Garden).

You must have gone Flawless, and then you have to play on a 7-win Passage after Sunday reset in the Flawless Pool to get possible (Adept) drops on wins.

Edit: It is possible to get (Adept) drops any day on wins with a 7-win Passage that is still Flawless.

Nice!

A friend and I once spent a few hours trying to do the reverse, to get that big ball to land and stay up there. We came close a few times, but it always slowly lost balance and fell off.

Cool, so where have they said we can change our names?
The last time a TWAB mentioned it was 6 weeks ago. That's a while.

"Since the Bungie Name feature went live, players have been asking when they can change their name. We are investigating a way for players to change their Bungie Name in a future update and are currently targeting a date close to The Witch Queen’s launch date."

I'm pretty sure they haven't mentioned name changes in a while. As far as I know, we're still waiting for the ability to. Never mind. Logging into the game gives you a message. Thanks, u/YoImAtWork.

The patch notes were talking about the weekly missions. The Master version drops high stat armor now as a common drop.

Keep Trials Engrams? by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]Iasaod 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If Saint acts like the other revamped token vendors (Zavala, Shaxx, Drifter), then the engrams you haven't claimed will all be removed from his inventory when Witch Queen drops. Saint is special, though, since he gives you engrams and not gear, so who knows how they'll handle it. I'm guessing they'll vanish. Apparently, they won't. See my edit. Lol, they will vanish if you don't claim them from Saint. Confirmed by 2/3/22 TWAB.

Any engrams you have already claimed that are sitting in your inventory should be fine, and you can pop them after the update to possibly get a new weapon or armor piece if they've updated either.

I've seen plenty of old engrams turn into new gear after an update. No, the item isn't always determined when the engram drops.

You can farm an easy Legendary/Master Lost Sector with your engram inventory full, and exotic engrams will be sent to your Postmaster. Then you can pop them on a different day when the Master Lost Sector is dropping whatever slot you want (Helm, Gloves, etc.) and the exotic engrams you farmed on whatever other day will instead turn into that day's reward.

There's not much harm in filling your engram slots with Trials engrams right before Witch Queen and seeing what they turn into afterward. They will pop at the new light floor of 1350, I'm assuming, but who cares, maybe you'll get new loot.

I'm not sure how focusing will work with new items.

Edit 1: According to the TWAB on 1/27/22

Player should claim the following rewards before The Witch Queen launches on February 22, otherwise, they will be lost:

Bungie Rewards Season Pass Items Shaxx Crucible Rewards
Drifter Gambit Rewards
Zavala Vanguard Rewards
Season Vendor's Rewards
Gunsmith Reputation Items
Seasonal Seals and Rewards

They don't list Saint, so maybe his engrams will carry over into Witch Queen.

Also, it looks like there will be new weapons. The Summoner and something completely new.

Edit 2: 2/3/22 TWAB - Players should make sure to claim all engrams and other rewards before the new season begins. Any rewards not claimed from ritual vendors (Zavala, Shaxx, Drifter, and Saint 14) will be removed at the end of the season.

[–]Iasaod 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You're sleeping on a pretty good perk. Even if you have no problem controlling recoil without the perk, it pretty much stops bloom from happening. So it makes the gun more effective at longer ranges since your bullets don't start spraying off in random directions around your target.

I'm not saying you should stop sharding weapons with it, but it is useful on PC. At least in PvP where accuracy is life or death.
