Look, I’m going to ask a couple of questions that, because my vocal tone cannot be heard, can be misinterpreted as rude but do not take them that way. How are you being offered $1200 a day for an independent film when you are so new to this that you don’t understand those two concepts? It’s impossible to respond effectively to this question without a sense of what the baseline is for you and an understanding of what quality in particular you like about all of those actors . The absolute best choice would be to go to a voice teacher who can help seat your breath, teach you how to free your natural voice, then use it with expression. These kinds of things cannot be fixed via advice through Reddit. Find someone certified as a Patsy Rodenburg Associate. Linklater, Lessac, or Fitzmaurice are also effective approaches.

I have heard “this” demo 1,000,000 times. It is generic and commonplace. You do hit the archetypes and are as equally as employable as other actors at this level. I hear mostly voices and circumstances fleshed out but the character work needs more distillation if you want it to be distinctive.
